  macaw, i like your intros very much, and it was imho a very great idea to remix nean der taler. But it would be really great if you would've spend more time on it. The music is ok (After a while you begin to _understand_ it!)
  But this one is _too_ psychedelic.. =)
  I'd like to see more of the "story" element which you had partially implemented in nean der taler (i.e. kind of exceed's heaven seven). This one isn't better than any of your other intros, but it's not totally crap (like I said in my nean der taler comment.. =)

  You maybe know better than me, who i never was really there, who i never used to be active in the scene since i don't have the experience yet (i'm 15.)

  Know what? I really don't understand why this one didn't get on the 1st place.

  This one doesn't base on hyper 3d high end torusknot/metaball/tunnel shit like we can see it in every 2nd so-called "demo".
  
  The scene exists mainly to have fun and to entertain each other.

  Then, listen to the original song (Afroman - Because i got high), maybe you now understand why i'm still not playin' Quake.
  I was rotfl'ing when listening to the soundtrack, despite to the fact that i didn't understand the language!
  Gee, dammit, they don't have lens flares and torus knots and hypervoxels and all that crap of which many "demos" use to consist.
  But it did exactly what i expect from a demo: It entertained me. If it did you not, vote it down.
  
  Do you rather like to see einklang.net's WinAmp plugin (aka "demo", like they call it) on 1st place?
  
  Yes, Hjb's Elements _do_ deserve the 1st place, just like fr's darker remix would deserve the 2nd place. But this one does not "_suck_" because it doesn't use metaballs and torusknots!
  
  It's fun. It's a great work.
  Could _you_ remake and build up a parody of a song in less than 30 mins, just when you got to know that your main entry won't be publshed?
  
  But you didn't.
  
  Maybe it isn't the state of the demo art, but it is nor lame neither does it suck. It deserves the 2nd place, and it does so just because of the fact that there was Haujobb with a great ambient soundtrack in their Elements to take the _first_ place, not more.
  
  
  And yes, i should better go play Quake now.

• The soundtrack is amazing, the design is amazing, the idea is amazing. Well the "remix" (squarelight) of this one is totally crap. The music get lost, the design too, and we won't talk about the idea here.
  
  Anyways, this one almost tries to tell a story like exceed did, would very much like to see some more of this "story" element, that's what demos need nowadays imho. (And not great cool 100fps flashing blinking GL effects..)
