- demo Windows Short Transmission by Edge Of Panic

For the next production I am going to focus more on tooling, we plan to create our own demomaker. This will be a lot of work!! So I expect our next demo to be a hybrid or something.. Some parts are made with our own minimal demo maker and other parts from scratch / by hand again.
I would try to minimize the amount of work on this focusing on what actually makes an impact. We've spent way too much time on making tools and ended up scrapping most of it in the last iteration for something really simple. We've been through the evolution from hardcoding everything to scripts and finally track data using keyframes with various forms of interpolation.
Our system is similar to GNU Rocket except that we have extended it to include tracks for when an effect or scene is active and what the render target of the effect is. We also have a simple debug view showing the status of all FBOs and final result (screen). Also some useful onscreen text showing stuff like FPS, number of draw calls etc. - isokadded on the 2012-04-16 09:30:59
- demo Windows REM by Youth Uprising
- Really wanted to give this a up-thumb. Visually this is a bit bland. Pure white particles are not that interesting. Over-use of static envmapping (Understandable since it gives you a lot in return visually). I like the sync and music though.

- demo Windows Obstroctopus by Indigo [web]
- I think your fastintro was more entertaining than this one. The white flashing is a too brutal. You completely lost me when the camera moved outside the tube and you see backface culling in action. Not pretty. Music is pretty decent though!
Considering this is the first registered demo from Indigo, it's actually not a bad start (even though it's based on Unity). Looking forward to a prod next year. Good luck and have fun in the process! :) - isokadded on the 2012-04-15 08:09:02
