• I see people asking for a translation for the lyrics, so here you go. The song is “Sika ja Perkele” by the band CMX. I’ve tried, to the best of my ability, to preserve both the feeling and the meaning of the original lyrics. I’m not much of a poet, so bear with me :)

  [1] In contemporary use, “Perkele” usually means the Devil. As the song refers to sin, this is probably the intended meaning. However, considering that early CMX often draws from pagan mythologies, it could also be a reference to Perkwunos, the Indo-European god of thunder.
  
  [2] “Kudos” usually means biological tissue. However, it could also mean woven fabric, although the word is rarely used for that meaning.
