- Not sure what to think about this - it's probably very impressive technically on a level that I have no knowledge about, and I really appreciate the use of a style that's not normally seen on the platform, but it really does feel like it runs out of ideas after the first 3-4 minutes both visually and musically... but then, maybe that's the point, I don't know. The abrupt fadeout ending certainly doesn't help the feeling of "yeah okay maybe that's enough".
I have a feeling this will be a second-mouse-gets-the-cheese scenario where there'll be prods in the future that utilize the same style and technique but with a bit more focus and punch and intent, which will in turn make this prod into an imperfect innovator - and maybe that's the right place for it. - rulezadded on the 2024-11-24 14:04:45

really really solid 64kb with oldschool vibes.
That's exactly what I was thinking, how this feels like early-hardware-accelerated 64k stuff. Admittedly it's mostly the nostalgia factor that kept me entertained, but it's still a proper 64k (a rarity nowadays) and I really can't knock the OG still being in the game after 20+ years. - rulezadded on the 2024-11-23 14:16:27

Doesn't render correctly on Linux+amdgpu+Firefox: most of shading is just black, some geometry is missing.
Looked correct on Windows, at least.
I love this - rough around the edges, but there's just so much energy and ambition in it :D - rulezadded on the 2024-11-23 14:09:07

I'd love if you test MITV on your machine
No I mean I did that and the demo just quits saying my hardware isn't supported. - isokadded on the 2024-10-19 02:04:44

- Any chance for an AMD version? My 7800XT should be able to raytrace.

- The reason I find this prod fascinating is because it shows that direction is more than just cinematography and editing, it's also narrative and cohesion, both of which this prod lacks; sure, it's well shot, well lit, looks great, but the music doesn't fit the visuals and it goes nowhere and says nothing.
There's a ton of good effort here and a lot of great detail (the clothes flutter!), but it feels like an exegfx with a soundtrack bolted on. - rulezadded on the 2024-10-13 01:10:32
