- cracktro MS-Dos starwars rogue squadron cracktro by Halcyon & Paradigm
- Apparently DosBox 0.72 CAN play this thing. It stutters a bit on my underpowered laptop, but it's the real deal.

- demo Atari ST Flip-O-Demo by Oxygene [web] & Diamond Design
- If nothing else, the title tune rules. But the artwork is very nice, the effects are solid, and the thing flows without interruptions to knock you out of the mood. The same tune plays continuously throughout the entirety of the demo, for one thing.

- "Now you still reading subtitles?"
I was quite amused by the mismatch of the subtitles, what I could glean from the German, and the pictures they picked. Oh, the heroic hoardes! - rulezadded on the 2008-01-18 09:23:47

- The link is dead... as is the Dune webpage

- demo Atari ST OLDCKOOL by Tomchi
- Lots of effort here, definitely a labor of love, even if it's a crappy tool inappropriate for the job. I've been there, wasting lots of time making complicated 2D and 3D effects in Microsoft Powerpoint.
Also, the music is really good. - rulezadded on the 2007-10-29 02:10:11

- I'd just like to add that this ran surprisingly well with Wine 0.9.47. It disabled FSAA and warned me I wouldn't be able to see some animations (though evidently not ALL the faces in frames were animations, because I did see one) but other than that everything worked. I don't think I had quite enough RAM for the scenes with snaking lines going everywhere, or the halftone blobs.

- Parts of it (especially the beginning, after the head is ripped off) reminded me of Lemon Jelly music videos.
I'm also curious: what was the hand holding the watch with 'Equinox' on it doing there? Special greeting?
I have to agree with Gargaj that I still don't get it; it's still a bunch of disconnected scenes... - isokadded on the 2007-08-11 03:56:25

- No, no, it's quite obviously from Conspiracy's The Prophecy: Project Nemesis :-)

- I have no idea what it all means, but it was awesome.

- demo TI-8x (Z80) Ti-85 Megademo by GL.Fusion
- Nezbie: I was going to ask, because if you managed to actually play that tune (even stand-alone) on the TI-85, I would... well, that'd be the best hardware hack of all time.
Now, I'm pretty sure you COULD do that on one of the TI calculators with the 68k processors... ticalc.org has such a program; you could probably hack together a primitive soundtracker.
Anyway, without the music, this isn't too spectacular, but I'm gratified to see something being done, so... thumb! - rulezadded on the 2007-05-10 05:43:08
