- demo Windows I Feel Like a Computer by Melon [web]
- Featured very clearly the best design in the compo. Even though ripping still sucks, this deserves respect. Lots.
Anxious to see some more new Melon stuff. - rulezadded on the 2003-08-11 08:18:06

- demo Windows korsopolski - 6EE-18 by Jumalauta [web]
- Oh, so this is what it's come to.
First, abysmal shit like this gets praised by the ART crowd with ridiculous adjectives like "amazing" and "magnicifent", with its boring droning melody-free mess of a soundtrack getting called "well-produced". Fuck all standards of quality; it's "weird" and "non-mainstream" so it's good and ART, right?
Then, to add insult to injury, I, seemingly the only person here with any common sense left, who hasn't started to blindly worship this whole disgusting ART trend, am suddenly the LAMER for sticking to my ancient and non-ARTistic ideals like, well, prefering stuff that DOESN'T HORRIBLY SUCK.
FUCKING HELL.

- demo Windows korsopolski - 6EE-18 by Jumalauta [web]
- You call this a DEMO?? This is nothing but a bunch of random red stuff moving on top of a boring minimal ambient MP3 (!) soundtrack.
If this so called piece of ART wasn't done by an established, well known and respected group such as Jumalauta, none of you would give it a second thought.
A clear sign that the scene is dying. - sucksadded on the 2003-07-10 22:28:26
- demo MS-Dos lepakko ulos helvetistä by ISO
- Every now and then, a demoscene production appears that is simply so breathtaking that you can't help but gasp in awe and be thankful for having been able to witness it.
Think Hplus. Think Zilog. Think Bakkslide 7.
Now, think Lepakko ulos helvetistä.
Here, ISO have managed to breathe new life into the concept of "story-demo" in a way that must be admired. Both story-wise (every moment of this both thrilling and deeply touching story, from the bat's ascendance from hell to the eventual confrontation between the bat and the hero, is simply captivaring) and design-wise (not only are the visuals stunningly beautiful, they are also immensely rich with references and metaphors concerning the nature of the portrayed characters, and human nature itself).
Utmost thanks and respect to ISO for delivering such a gem to the scene. - rulezadded on the 2003-07-01 08:21:31
