  When I made a similar effect, I did this:
  First simulate the line-grid and put each y values per x pos into a sorted buffer and make then a vertical filling.
  Then plot the line dots on another bitplane using the line-dot-buffer to decide which points are visible or covered. (simple y-pos compare)
  Thats how I did. I guess Sanity did something similar...

  First, i'm sorry for the dirty language... sorry... I was 18 years old...
  This was my first Amiga demo ever..
  I tried to join Static Bytes as musician, but got rejected... then i tried on my own, made 2 intros in my own name and joined later QBranch.

  This demo was the last QBranch demo, since most members made a new group called Light.
  (we later discovered that there already was a C64 group called Light too....)
  At same moment i changed handle from Vedel to Kollaps..
