• i think i get the concept of the demo, being like a typical boasting demo from the 90s but taken on overdrive with modern visual tech, and it almost lands it, some good effects and aesthetic choices help a lot, but it lost me with the cheesy trance music (have heard much better from turbo knight before) and extra cringy scene poetry (could easily have conveyed same message with a lot less cringe and bloat).

  the ones i recognized at first glance: 1 and 17 are by made/bomb, think atleast the first is also a copy referenced from somewhere else. 3 is by kidlove from the haujobb demo of same name but redrawn from a cd cover of a josh wink release. 5 was drawn by tmk but maybe also referenced from a photo. i also recognize 6 from a demoscene demo but not sure where from right now. 10 is the obvious boris vallejo. 11 is by inferno/quad but is also referencing photos.

• diver is a great pixel artist but most of these images are ZX pixeled versions of images of 3rd party authorship, so in that respect i would wish / expect the original authors to also be credited on this slideshow when listing the titles and year of release of each image.

• i for one approve of this post-farjan soviet doom referenced drone art period piece! relevant UNESCO heritage material that explains and contextualizes the clash of modern internet culture with one of the most prominent demoscene memes whilst at the same time referencing iconic discussion material from decades ago involving the controversial uprising of experimental demo media in demoscene popularity.
  
  perhaps just needed a bit more cowbell imho but i understand farjanmaker can be a bit restrictive to work with.
