- hmmm so i had dl this one when i got the 060 last year, but didn't remember... now i see it and definitely like it, maybe the problem comparison against the castle is that this one is sort-of-moody versus the kicking track at the other.... but codewise it shows very very good work (33kb :))) it sort of screams "hey we can do ride/skarla in an intro" ;)

- yuppers, non 256x256 textures can really kill performance but they can enhance a good deal a demo, just take a look at showbase shape from c-lous to get a sample :)
what impressed me a lot in this demo tech-wise is that you are definitely willing to sacrifice speed towards breaking new grounds into render techniques such as the antialiased spheres or the normalmap with glows. could it be done faster? probably yes, but someone has to come and make it first and then maybe the same or others will get into beating it. - isokadded on the 2006-05-04 20:46:37

- (greetz from canary islands) tried to run the demo on a acer portable machine with a crappy sis gfx card and non-updated gfx drivers... it ran fine until the end of the avionetu part, then the music continued bt the gfx froze forever... btw, is the ps+jeenio conference taped somewhere???
