i'm one of the organizers of 7DX Demo Parties. some ppl wanted to remove their entries after they were released. this happened 3-4 times. one of the reasons were very funny. the guy didn't like the ranking. :) if we allow anyone who asks to remove their products, all scene history would get really fucked up.
just like i don't allow (or at least use my personal vote that way) to be removed any product after they were released at our parties, i wouldn't allow the same for my scene history site. i don't own pout, but at least i can make my bold statement on the subject.

I agree with dipswitch. No prods should be ever removed or deleted if they have been released either in pouet or at a party. The only exception would be technical or dupe releases.
Maybe we should just delete the bottom 5% of entries, every year.
Being mad ain't gonna help you. We want a valid reason why you'd like your prods to get removed. Saying "I cannot be affiliated with a site I cannot respect." doesn't really mean much. However, telling us why you cannot respect this site would make this situation a lot more clearer.
Time for speculation as to why you'd like to get your prods removed (I don't know the real reason) and points against it:
If you wanna do it because you're feeling down, then I'd like to tell you that it's not really a good idea to do so. After your bad mood ends you'll be angry at your action. Rage deleting is never good. It makes you look like a coward and someone who can't deal with things. In the end you'll be in a worse position than you were before.
If you wanna do this because of some trolls... Let me tell you: Trolls on Pouet are nothing compared to those idiots on YouTube. I've thought that Pouet had some harsh people back then, but after seeing how YouTube trolls start political and religious flamewars that are extremely biased and saturated with threats and overall bigotry... on short pointless videos which have nothing to do with anything... I changed my mind. Also, didn't you say to not give a fuck about trolls? If so, listen to your advice. Trolls will be trolls, and if you're gonna quit because of them... they'll be the winners.
Still, I don't know your real morals behind trying to get rid of your entries on Pouet. Those two reasons are just guesses as to why.
Anyways, I'm pretty sure someone has already backed up your demos and bless their hearts for this since everyone's contribution to scene has a meaning, no matter of its significance or quality. It's a part of the history. A small part, but still a part.

Asking to remove a prod from Pouet is like asking IMDB or Wikipedia to remove an entry to a movie. It's just a page ABOUT a production, NOT the production itself.

Just trying to be a reasonable voice here mud, since most prods are hosted on scene.org wouldn't your request be better met thru them? Then you can just put in a "fix me beautifull" to have the invalid links removed.
