Hey, they even made a movie about one of the women working on this project.
ehm.. don't kill me if i don't completely understand this histopyramid thingie..
the common way to go from a scalar field to a 3D poly mesh was marching cubes. is the histopyramid approach an alternative (with better performance?) to marching cubes or is there something extra to it?
