Remote submissions welcome. You can already upload them at https://inercia.partyman.cloud/

Main participatory events include:
- Massive Shader Royale Jam session open to all shader coders remote and local
- Music Showcase, for all types of original music
- Graphics Showcase, for all types of original graphics
- Wild Showcase, for screening anything demoscene adjacent that doesn't fit the other categories
- Size Coding Showcase, for all types of size coding entries
- Fast Themed Demo Competition, theme and soundtrack revealed 48 hours before the deadline
- Combined Demo Competition, for all runtime executables on any platform

All screenings will happen before midnight on our main location.
Afterparty with DJs at local bar (will not be livestreamed).

We'll also have some seminars, workshops and a tic80 wall. More info on our website and social media accounts leading up to the event.

Not sure about the showcase thing, for me personally, competition is one of the key aspects of the scene that motivates me to make things. Anyways, I hope you have a lot of fun! :)

yeah, it's still an experiment, last year the showcases were alright in terms of participation.

considering 98% of demoparties have compos for everything, it's good to have some alternatives. let's see how it compares this year in terms of participation again.

The theme of Inércia 2024 Fast Themed Compo is the 50th anniversary of the 25th April 1974 Revolution.
Here are some keywords: Freedom, Revolution, Carnation, April 25th.

Cloning manwe’s thunder :) Guys, I’m arriving to Lisbon on Tuesday, and staying till Saturday. Can you recommend some demoscene-related places there? Something like museum of computer art or computer history, retro-gaming shop or market, things like that. Stuff other than Lynx Cat and biggest shopping mall I’ve supposedly heard of… Thanks in advance :)

it's not in lisbon but, museu load zx spectrum in cantanhede is good retro computer museum (and a regular partner of inércia). you kind of need a car to go there from lisbon though, it's like 3 hour drive away.

there are a couple of makerspaces (altlab, mill) and a synthstore in graça called patch point.

and we have the monthly meetups called momentum, but seems you'll miss this months', since it's in about an hour from now, not a week :D
