Just got back home and before I'll try to sleep properly first since Sunday I just want to thank you for this great party. While there were some disappointing moments (mainly the amount of pc demos) it was a great event and I'll try to come next year.

Dipswitch: if you had stayed by the fire for a bit longer, you would've been just in time for the prizegiving :-)

@dipswitch, 10mins walk away there was Ikea with their catering which wasn't so bad and in similar distance big shopping galleria, however some extra options in the place would be appreciated.

I liked that Zatacka-Game and would like to have more kind of 'underground-games' for the game competition, instead of Bomberman.

Timelapse of the party by lambdacore, including buildup and teardown. See us chilling around on Thursday and then panicking on Friday, right before letting people in :D

Excellent timelapse, makes one appreciate even more how people put in work for events like these. Also spotted myself in there in a couple of parts, making one realize who slow-moving I am. Lolz.

Can someone tell me what was the song streamed by wayfinder at the end? It was 4:40 when it ended. The song has very intryguing melody. Maybe u can also share whole playlist by wayfinder?

Deadline is over now for almost a month, we all had enough time to recover and are settled in again in normal life - time for a short write up.

First of all thanks to everybody who made it possible! Deadline always feels to me as a party where everybody contributes and everything just comes together really naturally. I hope that you enjoyed your time being there and all the effort we put in to make it happen was worthwhile, despite the (hopefully smaller) fuckups, which we will try to avoid next time.

Thanks to all visitors and thanks for all the nice releases you brought with you!

Congratulations to all winners! We will make sure that all places 1-3 will get their trophy, even for remote submissions. Contact us at [email protected] please to clear the details.

Our new compos Three-Dee and 256b were well adopted, so we will do them again next year. \0/
For Three-Dee we might collect some best-practices for next time to make it easier to take part in the compo.

Sorry again for the mess with the 256b compo. Reasons for the problems were mostly due to us doing it for the first time and not being aware of all possible caveats. We tried to fix it on the re-run of the compo, but still missed to play the sound of one of the entries. We promise to be way better prepared next time, to ensure a smooth run.
A underlying root cause which lead to stress and errors during all compo-preparations was the handling of remote entries, which was delegated to all compo-orgas for their own compo respectively. We will have one dedicated orga for remote-entries next time to streamline the process, take stress off the other compo-orgas and to make the whole process more smooth.

Thanks to all live acts and seminar speakers! You can re-watch the events and seminars here:
