She's now in the U.S.A. working for a republican think tank. Note that she first worked for a social-democratic party, then for a conservative liberal party and now for the even more conservative republicans, talking about opportunism :-)
But while she left she made our right-wing cabinet fall, so atleast she gave us a nice goodbye gift :-)

At all, the flag- colours of the german nation hail from the Lützow Militia in the early 19th century as they were fighting against Napoleon armies that have invaded the german realms (there was no Germany back then ;) ) . A lot of militians were students, which lead to the foundings of the so called Studenten- Burschenschaften.

She never said that the nazis where using that flag (and if she ever visited a german highschool she knows where it came from)
That was only what that Focus Magazine article which got cited by Adok implied.
The whole purpose of that stupid little PR stunt was to illustrate her opinion that any form of nationalismn in the country which is the successor of nazi germany should be treated with suspicion (link me beautiful).
