Ultimately it's the demo scene. Not the alliance scene. Wouldn't the world be a better place if people didn't feel as if they have to say "hi" all the time? And since when saying "hello" become a contest in itself?

I'm gonna start greeting people on all my web pages that I build so that people know how much I don't acually care, but really want their attention.

i only greet people i know, can't see any reason why to greet people you don't know. ok, i've know talked to chaos/fr so who knows, things might change, i might be arsed to update the flt .nfo file, who knows...

Going by this strange logic, I have never been greeted in a demo, and I am therefore perhaps the most hated person in the scene. Not bad going :)

I think the next Farbrausch 64k should include the entire group list from both pouët and ojuice in the greets. Of course, "ASCII packs quite well", but... :-P

Fairlight never did greetings in 64k's anyway... (mostly)

Melon never greeted Kefrens. They did include a pic of a melon-person pissing on an ankh, though.

funny how times are changing. this shows that its better to think twice before jumping to conclusions ;-)

In the early scene greetings were given to your contacts, not necessarily the people you knew. That changed when the demoscene and the warez scene drifted apart, though.
