Okkie: A (now) famous German lawyer had in the early 1990s some people who searched in computer magazines' second hand advertisments for people, who seemed to trade/copy software or at least who'd consider do it. The target group was mostly based on teenagers, therefore a fictive female person - Tanja Nolte-Berndel - was the ideal bait. Her letters were mostly identical, contained bad grammar and were printed on endless paper. She not only asked for software, she asked for a copy or for the possibility to copy it by herself. If someone was willing to help her Gravenreuth send out some lawyer's letters and - based on actual German law - the bill for this work. He didn't worked for companies or their rights, he just did it to send out bills.
