A very sad news : Today our close friend StreetTuff has passed away :(
After some weeks in the hospital, he died this morning.
Since there were already some rumours spreading around , i have to confirm it here .
As a wish from his family, the burial should be only in a very closed family circle, so please respect it and do not show up there.
We will always remember him, as he was the soul and spirit of every party, he visited. And also as active member here and in the other forums of the scene. Knowing him for over 30 years, makes it even harder to loose him now.
We will never forget,
a really sad Benson and the all the other members of TRSI

My since apologies first, and then of course: rest in peace comrade.
Ouch, that's awful. Enjoy the great bonfire in the skies, mate.
Rest in peace Tuffy ;-(
It was always fun to see you at Nordlicht and i was totally impressed when you rode with your E-Bike, with your own made battery pack out of old notebook batteries, to the Nordlicht Demoparty, from Hannover to Bremen. It was a sunny and warm summer day and you came with a big smile on your face.
You were so happy that you made it there and when we talked about your self made custom battery pack and your motivation why you did the ride, I still remember the look in your eyes full of proudness and enjoyment about what you accomplished. Especially as you said you did it for your healthiness and to take more care of you.
Its so sad to see you've gone now. I really liked to watch you and the other TRSI guys when you partied hard at Nordlicht.
You will be missed and remembered.

Heartbroken. I was looking forward to maybe seeing Tuffy again at Revision.
May he rest in peace and my condolences to all his loved ones.

man, this fucking sucks. rip my man, we had some great chats at demoparty late nights. I remember you proudly showing off the portably c64 you stuffed into a gameboy shell. The scene indeed lost another colourful and curious character. Condolences to all.
RIP Tuffy!!!
This is terrible to lose such a sympathetic and open-minded guy. When I first met him on Evoke 2011 he showed me his new C64 prod "We got signal" proudly and we always got along very well all the time. I'm not participating on demoscene events often but on Nordlicht he always was there when I was there and we always had funny but also insightful talks. Together with his best friend Peiselulli he worked on a lot of DTV prods and they always tried to motivate me to code something for DTV. Ish is right, on one Nordlicht he built his own battery pack from old notebook PSUs and he was sooo happy arriving from his long ride from Hamburg to Bremen.
A wonderful person left us. My condolences to his family and friends.

Ufff, I am shocked and speechless.
Hannover, not Hamburg of course!
still can't grasp it. huge loss.
I'm shocked and speechless. Rest in peace my team mate. Cya on the other side, Frank.
RIP Tuffy!
damn this is hitting like a ton of bricks. I remember arriving at x'2006, my first demoparty ever, him inviting me to sit at the table with him. He was one of my first friends in the scene, always showing me stuff he was working on and cool bits of hardware at parties. Really motivated me to do more in the scene back then when I was just an insecure newbie.
the krawall shots are gonna hit different at Revision this year :(

next to all the stuff he’s done for the scene, tuffi was one of the most calm and empathetic people i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. i still can’t fully grasp it. the last time we met, he told me how happy he was that we got to see each other again, and he really meant it. i just realized we’ve known each other for a bit over 25 years. it fucking hurts. mach's gut, junge. <3

The man will receive a well crafted late 90s gabber vinyl mix. Does not take the sting out but..

The Preview. The man will get a better homage. I feel mortifitied as fuck about what happened and what I, not on purpose, said.

Oh damn! :(
I met Tuffy at a Breakpoint and on the same day we argued and then became friends.
It saddens me to think that he is no longer with us. He was a great person and a demoscener to the bone.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
