*$**** Why this demo ? ****$*
This slideshow was created in memory of LeonBli, a great pixel artist
and Amiga enthusiast. He left an outstanding collection of paintings
that were originally created *with* and *for* the Amiga computer.
We thought it would be a great tribute to his work and unique skills
to build a slideshow with some of his most beautiful images.

*$*** Why on the Megadrive ? ***$*
Well, LeonBli was an Amiga artist in the first place. However, isn't
the Megadrive a close cousin to the Amiga? Same CPU, lotsa games in
common. In addition to that , the Sega Megadrive is about to become
a new ground of experimentation for the demoscene (and for us).
Please know that we did our best to convert some of Leon's images
that were in AGA format to the specs of the Megadrive. We hope this
slideshow doesn't betray his work.

I suggest you to work the scenario : deliver a message is always cool
for the demoscene :) Long live the girls who walk on the beach! »

I was very sad when I heard about Leon Bli passing away. I really
admired his talent and unique style and his art has been an inspira-
tion for me countless times. Farewell David, and thanks for all those
little rays of sunshine you shared with us. The demoscene will be a
bit less colourful without you.

Leon était un artiste touche à tout aussi à l'aise avec l'image que
le son. Tout le monde se souviendra de son style inimitable que ce
soit en pixelart ou avec ses chiptunes aux sonorités délirantes.
Malgré tout ca il n'avait aucune prétention et m'a très humblement
suivi dans des projets parfois bien inférieurs à ce à quoi il aurait
pu prétendre. Merci pour ton oeuvre l'ami, nous ne t'oublierons pas.
Enfin pour conclure de manière plus légère, quoi de mieux qu'une
petite citation de Leon Bli lui même au sujet de la demo ChipTuner
présentée lors de la Revision 2016 :
« Dans "ChipTuner", c'est dommage que la résolution de mes deux
images ai été divisée par deux, du coup le rendu est un peu crade...
Mais bon, on s'en fout on est jeunes :) »
