MayDay - A Day In May by Yodel [web]
At Last! This is the Release Version of "MayDay - A Day In May"... The only problem that's left is that you must have SB-DMA1, or you won't get no sound... Autodetecting of IRQ:s didn't work as I had expected, so you must choose that one (Baseaddress is automagically found)... These sound bugs will be fixed in the next demo we'll release. A Word About Sound Mixing Frequency: Choose 22kHz if your computer is 486-33 or 486-25 w/ Fast VGA ONLY! Otherwise the demo may hang... Try for your specific computer! Now we won't fix this demo - this is the RELEASE version, we are working on new demos... If MayDay is working on your computer - Fine!, but we cannot be held responsible for the damages it may cause to your computer (most unlikely!)... Finally: Don't complain about the lack of sync between the music and the gfx, that is if you have a slow computer. To get it right you'll need 486-25+. Note that this demo was coded in realmode, using only 286 instruction set, therefore you MUST NOT use any V86 program such as 386-Memory Managers, or you will suffer! That's it, and that's that... TCC signing off right about now. (Please forgive me for the possible typos in this doc and the scrollers, I am quite tired right now...) Why not call The Blob? Yodel WHQ.
