This is a special remembrance package of artwork by the Aces of ANSi Art.

To view this slide show, run the coded viewer (included) by typing "ACIDVIEW.EXE" from the command line. Refer to the NFO file for details denoting that modem/baud simulation is strongly recommended for best results.

This version of ACiD View 4.36f has been specially updated to be compatible with all versions of Microsoft Windows, including Microsoft Windows XP (and all antecedent versions).

Power to PC-ANSI.

dubmood, like any of the new "ANSI" is better. ignorant fucktard.
Actually yes, there is a LOT of better ANSI; this is a particularly BAD pack, with no examples of shading (or heck much creativity at all.)
Sir GarbagetrucK,

You've got to be kidding me. Do you *not* realize that these ANSIs were drawn between 1989-1991? Of course they seem primative in relationship to todays standards. But to say this is a particularly BAD pack is sacrilege. The point of this release is to demonstrate what ANSI looked like 12-14 years ago. At the time these ANSIs came out, they were cutting edge, they were pioneering. These are the forefathers of the ANSI world.

Hey Chris...

no offence, but who cares? :) this is a demosite, not thuglife.
long live ansi... this is where it all began. yeah, this is a demosite but why not look out for other artforms... knowledge is power.
okay, go look for other artforms at www.thuglife.org
thuglife is for ascii. not ansi.

acheron.org or is for ansi...
- that "or"...
Not the first time that someone submits an artpack as a slideshow. Even though most of the pictures look crappy by modern standards, some of them have interesting styles.

"with no examples of shading (or heck much creativity at all.) "-Sir Garbagefuck

Now to make something creative you need to use lots of shading? Whatever man..
