Probably the coolest demo from you guys so far!
Cool to see new demo for Amiga1200 without accelerator.
There weren't as many effects as I'd like (most are palette cycle, but the zoom inside the alien eye was cool at least), the alien theme is cool. But still light thumb up for supporting the slower AGA Amigas.

It is very cool to see a demo for plain A1200 with fast. This is a config. most have today. The demo starts very good but get a little boring I think. Still nice production and looking forward to see more demos with this configuration. Thanks.
Thanks for your feedback. Up till now I always try to stay within the 2MB Chip limits of the A1200. But then why? Most people do have some Fast Mem. With >4MB Fast required this is a bit heavy. Will try to reduce this to <4MB for the final. The final will also include a few minor tweaks I had to remove last minute to make it work on the 060 Compo Machine. Goal is to make it work on all 68k CPUs > 020.

It would be even better if you try to smooth the effect of the alien in the swamp. Can be improved a little bit just with some fade (real or fake, no matter how) inside the eye.

I like the simplicity and unusual design, reminds me of low-budget SciFi movies from the 80s, well done folks

I think the next big step would be scrubbing the colour palettes and pay attention to a tighter sync to the soundtrack.
Thing is, many folks have that sweet extra memory plugged in the accelerator boards. Once you hit that "2" on boot and disable the expansion slot, your nifty high end rig becomes a plain vanilla w/ 2MB of chip ram.

The zooming Alien scene is cool. The rest is a bit meh, but here's you're motivationnal thumb!

That only disables the accelerator card (not the complete exapansion slot) and only works for certain Blizzard accelerators. </nitpick>
As for the demo, a bit uneven in quality but still nice enough to watch. And the music is great!

The music is nice, and the sync in the beginning. The zoom effect is the heavy hitter, though the picture itself, while nice, seems to be the victim of a hasty downsampling job. I'm wondering if it's really AGA - it looks distinctly OCS to me.
I think I'd appreciate this production more if a bit more time had been spent on the graphics. Some homebrew fonts and a bit of antialiasing and dithering would go a long way in making this look sleeker!
