Ok
great. i want more still demos. MOARR
Brainwashed me. Creepy, in a good way.
I Still want more demos.
had to remix it: linky
Way too long for the content! Some nice ideas but nope, the demo didn't work for me at Deadline and I was happy when it finally ended.
Best of the compo for me <3
One effect show with lots of messages, potentially with some political background.. I could not really follow. General mood is good though and the effect is interesting as well.. it's just too long to keep me focused. I also remember more complex and sophisticated demos from Still so I'm undecided between weak thumb-up and strong ok for it.
My biggest gripe was how there was no consideration to which words are displayed when - a lot of the emphasis of the text was lost that way.
fantastic soundtrack. but having the text in the nfo to read it in you own pace might be helpful. it is the same as weird scrollers. hard to revisit. so cutting out all meaning makes it kinda boring to watch because of its length. and overall it lacks a hint of design. looks cheap no matter the sometimes nice fx. i think a piggie is fair.
I normally enjoy Still productions but this one was a little meh. I would've loved a bit more detail in the typography.
Asthmatic. There's just so much you can do when showing one word at a time.
...might be a bit long, but I like the idea and mood there...
like others said, some potential was lost, but still a very good demo. I enjoyed it a lot.
Too much Blah Blah...
This went on for too long
Duurt lang.
I don't get it sorry.
I could not follow the text, but I really like the transient effects a lot. Awesome!
OK
cupe: love your remix :D
Good stuff but seriously overstayed its welcome. Would be an easy thumb up with more variation or shorter content. Still, kudos for doing a quality "compofiller" as there weren't exactly too many entries..
what gargaj said, and also the colors are quite bad... somehow very reminiscent of early 90s amiga demos, in large part due to the tinny, cheesy music
nevertheless, it has feedback, so...
nevertheless, it has feedback, so...
doesn't click
feedback -> always gets thumb up from me!
my private demo session this evening:
1. piledriver
2. about us
3. about us - remix by cupe
What an amazing coincidence!

nice
Highest level of the design, music and sync!
i somehow feel like this demo falls between the cracks of pleasing oldschool demoeffect fans and newschool heads.
Nice
Takes some time to get off, but once it's in full force it's a very intense trip!
(whoever is wondering where the text comes from)
cupe: that remix is HILARIOUS! the timing of the text just fits so perfectly :D

nice but too long..
ok
Great! Very nice music!
Interesting concept, but the execution is disappointing.
There are several good ideas and effects in there, but also poor design choices, and a lot of unexploited potential.
For example, at times the feedback effect supports the message, with a feeling of a presence that is difficult to grasp and a feeling of uncertainty, but at other times it goes completely against it and feels unrelated and distracting, like those curly effect around letters.
Moreover, during most of the demo, the message is legible despite the effects and pace, yet at other times the words are just unreadable. So do you want the viewer to read, or do you want them not to? It's unclear.
I would have understood if the text had become more difficult to read during the most sensitive parts, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Similarly, the surprising choice of showing some unimportant words, like pronouns, more prominently than others, gives an impression of randomness, whereas a deliberate choice could have had impact.
