this is so good, software rendering, 320 x 240 resolution. makes me very happy.

Seen it on party stream yestarday and totally roxx! I love big pixels, love software rendering! And msx is gr8:)
Really cool demo with great music. Very very enjoyable.
Kudos for software render! Brilliant tune destroyed by absolutely atrocious soundmix which literally made ears bleed at party :/ I begged orgs in my mind to lower down the volume but apparently my telepathy skills are way too low :(
Thumbs up for software rendering. I think one of the effects (and the one that is kinda slow for this resolution), I have seen it in shadertoy or something. Maybe ported from shaders?
nice late 90s DOS feeling, a bit repetitive on the second half but pretty decent overall!
Nice demo and cool music
really great look'n'feel, amazing tune! oldskool ftw!
There's absolutely no excuse for 320x240 on a 3.2ghz quadcore to run this slow - at least half the effects dropped to single digits, so I'm wondering what exactly is this supposed to be ran on?
The tune is fantastic (Keito Howlett brings it again) and the texturing is solid, but the code is a massive question mark.

At least half of these effects appear to be taken from shadertoy (with permission?), for an example.
The design is all over the place with nice full screen graphics but the rest is a mishmash. Also def heard better tracks from Keito. Just doesn't feel much thought went into this, sadly. Also yeah what gargaj said about the performance.

Good music. I like very much the software rendering. This is so 1999... But in a good way.
However, the design could be improved a bit and Gargaj has a point (regarding the frame rate in general). But to me it's enough for a thumb up.

Retro-feel.

Good job guys! Reminded me ~1998.
What Gargaj and noby said. Given that it is not a joke prod, and not an obvious tribute to something in particular, there's no excuse that it doesn't run on P133. Otherwise it would be a nice prod.
It's pretty slow, most of the effects are copy-pasted from Shadertoy and it seems to be single-threaded so it doesn't look like much effort was put in to the rendering really. Unless there was some invisible clever way that the Shadertoy shaders were executed on CPU then I think this was a kinda pointless demo.
what provod and others said, no MS-DOS version - no thumb :D
just kidding, still + for aesthetics and overall 1999 feel :)

someone forgot to push the turbo button.. piggie as i really liked the soundtrack
loved it!!
What Jammer said
Love it. Pure demo style
It so happens I've been making these types of effects in software (higher resolution, though) last year (plus many others) in software and I can see performance issues, tie that to the low resolution and technically it's a thumb down. But it has style and good colors so I'll remain neutral.
Thumb up for the oldschool combination of fistbanging music and good-looking visuals.
Mulitple thumbs down for ShaderToy ripoffs.

Nah, it's the resolution that's offensive
Looks like shit, runs like shit, ripped shaders.
Easiest thumb down in years.

i was initially a bit on the fence, but i'll have to be honest: this is just a bastardization of "oldskool dos" tropes. nothing fits together and the only good thing here visually are the full screen graphics by azzarro. the rest is (at least largely) shadertoy shaders naively converted to C or whatever, and that really shows in the performance. the rest that i don't recognize from there, the 3d blob stuff, look awful.
I'm not seeing any evidence of a clever reason (neither technically or stylistically) to have copied code from Shadertoy, so in the end this is a thumb down from me.
Feels like a half-finished 1990s Orange demo, with proper overlays missing, repeated effects to fill time, and stand-in music yet to be replaced.
And yeah, "borrowing" shadertoy stuff without attribution sucks. :(

It's not like those shaders were rocket science to begin with; making that argument is sort of like seting a precedent to thumb down any demo other than TPOLM ones who sport a 2D tunnel ;)
The shame is that it's so freaking poorly implemented.
software render rox!
nice music and some graphics but IMO demos for period screen modes should run on period hardware. Anyway, ripped effects = lame. soz.
First half looks interesting, but then it's too repeatable.
Very enjoyable. Great flow, and the visuals and the soundtrack go well together.
more than 10 ripped effects without attribution running slower than ever in 320x240 in 2019, sheesh
The info doesn't try to hide these are copied from shadertoy.
"Meanwhile, please consider that the voronoi based effect, fire alike fractal and starfield tunnel
are Shadertoy borrowed work, created by their original authors, and we admire their skills."
Also it says something about the tech here
"Thus we created a multi-core optimized interpreter and execution engine of OGL compatible pixel shader language we run instantly without any pre-calc, pre-load, etc. The moment you hit the executable, demo starts."
So even if it isn't lightning fast it has got an interesting approach.
Anyway the music is enough for a thumb :)

That was a fun blast!
For the good old times! Software rendering for the win! =) Just assimilate the impact and proceed with the good work.
Very cool demo, interesting effects, good retro dos style. Congratulations! :)
great software rendering and really enjoy seeing these old low res software looks and style :D
Nicely done!
Interesting software rendering approach here. Would be a bit more appropriate if the actual shader authors would be attributed in the demo visuals or nfo.
http://ftp.klosz.art.pl is not connecting right now. :(

That NFO wasnt there originally I think.
Old school! It ran nicely on my decade old, updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 PC with ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of VRAM) and 6 GB of RAM. ;)
Quite nice one.
I like the oldschool style of it both from the visuals/colours as well as from the tune.
it's maybe a bit too longh though but still worth a (motivational) thumb

thumb for doing things the hard way!
sadly a good tune wasted in an incoherent ugly mess
Feaking awesome
rocking demo vibrations! keito's polska demostyle track is easily shaking all the good stuff
good one
hell yeah, software rendering and doing it the old way just rox
Nice demo, and it works on GT 430 :)
Cool demo.
This is one of the best experiences I ever had! This is a late 90s dos era demo made to work perfectly on Windows! The beat, the style, everything is from that era and is presented in such way that will immediately remind you of the good old demos from that time! For me this a 10/10! :)
