I like the fact that it's a solo project. But dude, you need to start working with some people who can help you get some direction in design. then you'll rock.

rygorous: "whoa that's deep dude"

gloom909: “That’s so deep... learning, dude..”
fpganugga: such profound, very demo
argasek: Removing the "poetry" and changing the soundtrack to something that actually has a melody could make this demo something interesting
faelnor: As a parody of cyberpunk circa 1999, this is asbsolutely perfect
hukkax: unreadable/10
rygorous: oh wait, what if this entry was submitted by a deep neural network trained on early 2000s demos and scene poetry?
Merkl: stop educating me. I don't want to be educated

— Twitch chat.

Visually a small step up from some of the previous Hoodlum works (kudos for actually using a screenshot for the screenshot!), but otherwise is about as corny and poorly directed as ever.

This has some strong ghost in the Shell vibe for me, really dig this. But considering how tired and intoxicated the audience is at that point, most of your questions probably scare them rather than get them thinking.
Nevertheless good effort, I like the idea to add some sprite sheets to spice up the renderings!

(if you care to discuss the topic, I'd do a paintover/recut to show what I think this topic could be like with your visuals - and answer some of the questions you ask in the demo. But it's going to be so much work I decided not to go there unless you really want to have a discussion about it.)

So many nice scenes too look at, but design (too long) and music (too relaxing) don't touch my scene soul (again).

This was one of my favs this year, should have placed much higher, like 2nd place or so.. Music and visuals fit together well and nice direction.

Not my cup of tea even though I agree with most of the text.
