Smooth as fuck effects!
Very well chosen palettes sit alongside just as good design, the effects are good, and a really enjoyable intro, will be rewatching this on my Amiga! :)
Love it, so much smoothness. Very enjoyable!
Very nice! Well executed design throughout.
Great design, love it! Feels somehow different in style from your last prods, in a very good way. Best of compo!
Oh yeah, style to the max
Design can make the difference. Colors are just beautiful
what CONS said =)
Great style :)
Great mood and some remarkable style... :)
Is this really hires-lace? Britelite going crazy...
Nice effects! Though I felt that it was all a bit wasted, because the music didn't support the visuals.
love it and makes me more and more confident to move to AAAAAMIGGGAAAAA soon... ;)
nice
Really nice stuff.
Getting HIGH! Nice!
smoooth!
Slick :)
Many scanlines in this one!
Very nice prod!

Very Nice !
mathlib req.. demo with fpu ?

Bit slow performance and agree music was not the best for this. But nice design and a pretty cool 64k! :)
thumb for high-res !
Nice chip tune, smooth effects and the higher resolution makes everything look really clean - this years favorite for me!
Very polished. Great colors.
I like this one too.
So refreshing NOT to see the usual superlowres C2P (Crap-to-Poo) rubbish in an Amiga demo. More content and direction would be welcome next time, though.
Mie tykkäsin tästä.
Great music, nice design, enjoyable effects. A lovely intro indeed!
nice!
ultra smooth
Absolutely lovely, especially music.
looks nice! and from what I heard the framerate was really high!
GEEZ, I already thumbed it up, but I thought this was a demo. For a 64k intro this is defo dope and not at all slim on the content. Hats off to the Dekadence crew!
This was amazing! I hope more people will try to push the high res limits in the future...
@rloaderror:
On the B1260/66 compomachine it was absolutely smooth.

best in compo
Nicelite :)
It's an honor to be next to this one in the results :-)
Britelite shines when he is not forced to content recycling :) I like some of the parts more, some less, but this hires laced trick is awesome! I quite liked the music, but thought it didn't fit the visuals at all.
Cool tech, nice transitions, but music is quite boring (sorry).
Since 060-cards for my 1200 are ridiculously expensive, I have to settle for WinUAE for this one, but I just can't get it to run.
Just exits back to the prompt right away. Any specific dependency that might trigger this?

Beautiful looking renderer... give me flat shaded polys over C2P blocky jerkiness any day :) Such a clean and perfect look
and a thumb...
Great design, visuals, colors and effects.
The true winner.. Congratz!!
Mainly interesting on a technical level but that's fine for me.
More than 2 bitplanes in this one. The hexagons tied the demo together for me.
Excellent and very enjoyable intro.
smooth - really enjoyed this!
Very Nice !
When watching on the stream, I was wondering if this was actually anti-aliased in order to not suffer too much of a chip ram performance hit in going hires, but maybe 640 is not that bad on aga!?
moral hard candy?
britelite: RAM doesn't seem to be the problem, my normal 060 UAE-config has 128MB Z3. I did try with exactly 32MB just in case, but same result, just quits right away.
Does it have any dependencies on a "proper" Amiga OS install? Libs or something?
I don't have any workbench or anything, just have a dir mapped with files mapped as dh0, so I boot into the AmigaDOS prompt and run the file via CLI, but it just exits right away.
Tried your previous AGA demo (Carbon Based) and had the same result - just quits right away.
"Twice" (OCS prod) ran fine though on this 060 config, so it must be something that your AGA prods needs that I haven't configured properly. :(

Great port of "Kkowboy" in 64k!
I've just watched it on my Amy 1260 and it looks elegant, clean and smooth. Very nice work, dudes!
Perfect !
Wonderful! Very well done, great music as well, even though I also think it doesn't quite fit the design. Whatevs, great stuff.
great!
good minimalistic design
props for hires/lace

Ah, high-res interlaced, adorable. From memory I haven't seen this since Leon at BP2007. Deserved winner of the compo.
Supersmooth visuals and a more than welcome departure from the usual C2P stutterfest. That's how to make a platform shine.
awesome and what kb_ said!
wow!
Wouldn't wanna let YT spoil me the pleasure, so I waited until "big mama" was set up again.
Holly crap, such a slick hires interlace "panavision" design. Especially loved the colour scheme and hexagon backdrops. The Kung Fu is strong in this one :D
In a way it reminded me of one of my favourite chill- out intros 1 week by Contraz

Booting into workbench did the trick, so I could finally run it in WinUAE.
Still this seems like the kind of thing that would look even better on a 50Hz CRT to get maximum smoothness from the interlace, but anyway:
Nice and clean design, very fresh! Thumb up.

@Sdw: believe me, it looks perfectly gorgeous on the CRT
Delicious visuals, design, music, pacing, everything! Love it.
Really great intro and I'm not ashamed for such a statement even as a die hard Atarian :) Wish I knew more about current AGA standards tho. Guess that these days Amigas are quite boosted, aren't they ?

They are, but Britelite has kindly shown his considerable skills on Atari machines of various types as well :-)

best Atari-comparison would probably be Falcon+ct60, only slower :)
Ok thanks for the info ! I wish we could see more from you on the Atari ST, I'm sure you would amaze us as well ! Great work btw !
The thumb is for the technical achievement, which I also find very good.
Good looking and smooth as silk, music isn't my absolutely favorite stuff this time :)
great clean prod! Bonkers: check out the starting and the ending part of phase one by capsule 6bpl gires llaves and superhires laced (4bpl?) respectively. 1998.
Best in compo.
Music was to slow for my taste, but the intro looked yummy. Gotta thumb it up for hires effects alone.
Simply OSSOM :)
nice
Awesome!! Where can we get its soundtrack?
hexagons and great colours
i like...
doh... even with no greetz you get a thumb....
yep orb is flexable ;)

Looks great!
Solid work and a fine Amiga intro!
looks great!
Beautiful. I really enjoyed it!
Nothing groundbreaking as far as I can tell, but en enjoyable one. The audio is the weakest link with its occasionally odd harmonies.
*_*
Loved it!
cool
what an awesome intro! great and slick design! instant love on the bigscreen!!
nice visuals, medium music
Smooooth!
Not roller-coaster-in-some-kind-of-haunted-house-amusement-park-almost-trackmo-megademo demo like Artworks – Exit planet Dust or Nexus 7 but very nice 64k, though.
Nice colored polygones & lines, smooth & polished to the max, great !
Yep yep! Great stuff!
Cool!
A very nice one with very smooth effects and new vector objects which match perfectly to the music. Good work guys!
nice and smooth..
so clean and smooth - rulez!
The interlaced movement looks a bit weird on a flickerfixer, but the high resolution is worth it. :)
Very clean looking high resolution production. Not a fan of the music but it's ok.
Dat rendering!!
AGA power! Like the music, too, but it doesn't fit the style of the prod very well imo.
awesome intro!
Damn good looking, HIRES rules, also running so smoothly.
Music.. well, gotta have one but it didnt work for me :P
Seconding DanLemon here

I love every frame, so smooth!
nice
welcoming the idea of hires-laced planar effects on amiga. looks polished and smooth. the tune is really nice on his own, but doesn't really fit the visuals though.
typical britelite
and i like it!
and i like it!
Awesome design and fx!
Music was not my cup of tea (this time)

Just beautiful. Incredibly smooth.
Cute.
Nice shades and hexagons
Reminds me of the day when I cut the screen size to get something blitted at 50 FPS on my A500. Nice show of what can be done with the chipset.
damn! so goooooood!!! i want more hires laced demos!
lovely
The music sounds... very weird (?) in this one. Actually more enjoyable at 150% speed. But the visuals are killer.
Very neat. Great !
flat shaded vectors in higher resolution than 320px
I like that!
I like that!
Finally got to see it on the actual hardware. Nice and soothing and exquisite framerate for 040/060 aga demo :)
visually enjoyable!
