both exes crash here, GTX 980 latest drivers, win7 x64.
doesn't even find it's way into the taskmanager here. so video/yt for the poor ones please :)
Crashes on win 7 and Radeon 270 too.

hardy: DX11 is by far not the same as DX11, as far as shader compilers go. There's d3dcompiler_43.dll, and there's 2 versions of d3dcompiler_47.dll, one of those targets the WinRT API, and the other one targets the Win32 API.
d3dcompiler_43.dll is that what ships with the DX installers.
d3dcompiler_47.dll (WinRT) is that what comes included natively with Windows 8.1
d3dcompiler_47.dll (WinAPI) is found in the Visual Studio installation folders.
I'm almost sure, that if you put the WinAPI 47.dll next to the intro, it might work.

I somehow missed the first half at the party, and at home it crashes - so a fixed version or a youtube capture would be nice. :)
