Windows port of their excellent dos demo
added on the 2002-05-30 04:22:45 by Crest
I've only seen two Doomsday productions before, 'Electroniks' and 'Boost.' Both were good low-res software rendered demos with a nice fast pacing. 'Off' has the same overall quality and good code. However, pacing was much more relaxed, as was the music and it didn't quite work for me.
Nice atmosphere like in all Doomsday prods. And those human models were cool.
..but thumbs up for the win32 version!
Although 'Doomsdays' big time was '97 (and they admit that they haven't written much new code since when), there are still plenty of more recent dsd demos that rock. This one is actually one of my favourite software rendering demos from the late 90s era.
'then'
Nice production. Weirdo effects, good music and a pig. What more can you ask for?
This is a damn good demo, perhaps my favourite from Doomsday.
Pretty.
Finally downloaded the Windows port and watched it again after a few years. The usual Doomsday quality, love the walking baby
Lovely
didnt really work for me like the other dsd demos did..
love it.
Good one.
