This is an early sketch, alpha version, about 1/3 of the planned content, which was released to support the party. The full version will be longer and free of bugs. It is coming soon.
The title of this demo translates into English as "Paints". Even this early sketch is cool, innovative and inspiring. The demo promises to be a bit cold and technical, however, it offers an insight into the future; shows the way for demos on Spectrum, and the future looks bright and colourful.
WOW! A really great little demo! All effects are really nice and the flow/transitions of the demo is really well done! love it!
Pretty cool. What rez said.
Liked! Really fresh effects for ZX, and 6912 screen cool used !
Good job!
We wait for full version!

very good and fresh demo, can't wait to see it complete! good luck!
Stylish. Does it run on an expanded machine or what does the 640k mean?
@Preacher, no, this is intended for an unexpanded Pentagon 128K. Sadly, it won't work on a classical Spectrum 128K. 640K is a standard beta-disc image.
nice multicolor stuff. nice greets worms. x rotating colored cube also cool.
Fresh meat :)
I really didn't like all the messages about news technologies vs old technologies. The best effects in this demo are greetings part and rotating bar (yes, it have come to zx at last, since years of c64 exploitation!), which are, as i feel, just gigascreen.
And sure, very pity it's too short and unfinished.
Special thumb up for the soundtrack.

btw some nice 6912 fx and gfx here :)

these colors... these fx... sure this is speccy? ^^
Fun!
Coll prod )
Njoy a lot at the party!
Moar!!!!
smells like brainwave
Only a third? Bring on the rest of it!
is this the standard spectrum? wow, nice tricks.
Хорошее начало. Молодцы товарищи краски. Обязательно доделайте продукт. Эффекты хорошие.

probably, demo for Pentagon128. I didn't check.
@bonefish, you made it sound more negative than it was intended :)
Most multicolour demos for classical Spectrum 128K won't work on Pentagon 128K either. The main problem is in different ULA timings and in the presence of slow memory. Pentagon makes life easier, not because it is marginally faster, but because the screen access does not generate additional wait cycles. Fixing this demo for classical Spectrum 128K will be (mostly) possible, but at the cost of pretty much re-writing many timing-sensitive codes.
I am not aware of many classical Russian demos adopted to western Spectrums, but I do know that most important western multicolour demos (e.g. Shock etc) have been hacked to work correctly on Pentagons.

What are again the wait states on different spectrum? So, wait if I write to vram it's slower than normal?
crazy design, me likes..
Design rules, effects are fresh. Waiting for a final release!
Impressive demo! Keep ZX-Scene Alive!
I don't like the name, but work is good.
short and sweet!
some people here are constantly howling about "originality" of computers (most pitiful idea), so they will come here and whine that since this demo doesn't run on ZX Spectrum, it should not be in this category.
and it doesn't, by the way.
if people thought like that, we would never go beyond the Spectrum 16K, or beyond the cave and cudgel, for that matter.
luckily, most people are not morons.

glad to see such a nice work, especially gfx.
cool but castrated.
and now we waiting for long demo ;)

Cool style and cool music, the greetings part and the logo part are the ones I liked the most <3
Lot of attention went into this one. Really fond of the new effect ideas and also the music.
Some original ideas and nice sync. Thumb up' and looking forward to the final!
Very nice! Can't wait for the finished prod!
Cool! But still waiting final version.
It was OK.
yep
Platform specs to run demo?
This demo is for Pentagon 128K, which is a ZX Spectrum 128K clone with slightly different timings and uncontended memory. Pretty much every serious emulator will support it.
Just for the record: there is a long tradition of Pentagon demos. A significant number of important 1990s demos is Pentagon-only. Arguably, Pentagon 128K is a de-facto standard for ZX scene in Russia.

Oh, and your thumb down is very unfair.
Nice music and totally great greetings part which alone warrant the thumb already but the rest is very entertaining too, really enjoyed this demo! :)
StingRay, please make sure to watch the full demo.
I rest my case. :)
must be good
Thx introspec! Only have ZX Spin, so I guess I get one of these, which though? http://www.worldofspectrum.org/emulators.html#pcrus
@Photon, the best ZX Spectrum emulator that just works out of the box is Spectaculator, but it is shareware. The best free emulators to support both western and eastern models are Fuse or ZXMAK2.
To see the demo properly, you must ensure that emulator is using Pentagon 128K timings. Each of these emulators will have a switch in there somewhere saying "model: pentagon".

TAP please
Thx Introspec, running in emu explained what I saw better than the video :) And so would watching it for real on a CRT screen.
I can't change my thumb for Kpacku Deluxe (unless Pouet changed), but I will thumb up this and hope all is better. :)

great
Hangs on the ZX+2; bah!
This ZX Spectrum is awesome, saw the orginal today and the Deluxe version earlier this year
