Awesomesauce!

You are full of awesomeness!
Magic voodoo rocket science!
Definitely the demo of the year!
Doesn't seem to run in VICE, so here is a youtube video:

impressive!
the product!
"AMIIIIGAAAH!" ;)
It's like an endless orgasm that reboots itself, again and again.
Pure stream of awesomeness.
Pure stream of awesomeness.
I got so many ideas for Amiga 500 effects that I just have to go home and code while watching this. Not only is this full of great effects, they are also utilized really well. Awesomeness all the way through.
And the graphics and music are great too!
And the graphics and music are great too!
holy. shit. thanks for the ride!
massive!
Great job guys!
YES
now that was some crazy shit! awesome!
Now we can burn every 264 machine, byebye forever margin for improvement!
c16 rul3z 4eva!!!
rip c16
easily the best 8bit demo i've ever seen. this is such a polished and wholesome prod! thank you for releasing it at our party.
wow
Ho-ly-crap. So long, and so awesome!
Thanks for the YAPE suggestion, it works perfectly! This is an amazing demo, definitely.
YAPE = Best c16 emu ever. Literally runs everything you throw at it.
Rocket Science = Hands down best demo on the c16 ever, and on a very short list of best 8 bit demo of all time. The amount of work and art is staggering! :) One of the very few c16 multi disk prod.
The youtube cache load screen was very funny! LOL And the Amiga boing ball at the end!

good!
Wow, great demo!
I am seriously impressed with this. Wow. Amazing artwork, tight code, and some really nice design to put it all together. Great music considering the chip you were working with (but a SID track with some more bass would have been killer!)
To be honest, I downloaded this for the logo in the screenshot - which I thought looked pretty damn cool. Then it *scrolled*...

Oh bäu - an absolute super package of awesomeness. Fresh effects, top graphics, super music. This is the best demo of 2014 across platforms imo.
Wait... what?!? Absolute jawdropper
Bauknecht!!!!111 :O <3
Beautiful, excellent gfx work, lovely transitions from scene to scene, weird and wonderful new effects. My all-time favorite Plus4 at least, and I can see myself watching this hundreds of times in the future. Thanks <3
Dayum, that was incredible. All those effects, awesome pixel art, varying music.. Don't know what else to say, my hat's off to all involved.
Nero did an awesome job.
Looks massive!
Hammer...
brilliant gfx, awesome code, but very "strange" music (
awesome! so much inspiring fresh stuff (youtube vote only, sorry)
Long, but people seem to like that in oldschool demos. :P Rather lot of effects and nice graphics in this one.
!
Awesome, massive!!!
Graphics and Transitions are 100%
There are also a lot of cool effects (even though few of them are too blocky to recognize, also unreadable scrolltext, greetings)
You almost got me there with utub

This is the edge of disgrace of c16 !
Smart ideas, massive gfx, good code. So original.
Over an out? No way!! Keep em coming!
That you tube part made me laugh! ;)

Great work!
Incredible graphics!
Nice effects and gfx, and horrible soundtrack
Woow, what a ride!
Great gfx!!!
Ihr seid ja wahnsinnig!
The needless and tired *MIIGA wankery and some other possible nitpicking aside, this is a great 8-bit platform demo with tones of effects and some great graphics. It almost feels like an Offence demo on a different platform. Some more polish and better sync and it'd be even better. :)
those who complain about the sound, you are aware of what the sound chip is like, right?
<3 What first poster said, and the youtube gag was funny.
Guys, it's not a C16 demo, it's for Plus/4.
Overally this demo set's the bar for all 8bit demos, so awesome fresh and fast effects, great graphics, linking and overall design and a top notch TED music.
Wow, just wow, what a demo. Motivates me to start working on 8bit stuff again.

amazing!
IMRESSIVE!
unimaginable!
Incredibly impressive in every aspect.
And i mean it.
Seeing where Plus4 demos initially came from - trying to do what others did on the C64, just with worse music and no sprites - the Plus4 scene has managed to evolve their demos into something individual, tailored exactly to the strengths of the Plus4 and carefully avoiding all its weaknesses.
And this is, without a doubt, the masterpiece, that will be incredibly hard if not impossible to top.

its awesome, but not in every aspect. some effects are in a way too blocky/8x8ish
Very nice direction, effects and gfx.
Excellent, and one of the highlights of the party. Also the music is great. Will be reminded a loooong time.
Great TED soundtrack, great graphics, great effects. Great!
I would have liked it even more if it was completely dedicated to the "story". Youtube gags and "*MIIGA wankery" are great fun and all, but for me they were just immersion breakers, sorry.

Winner!
Really nice graphics, and respects for using TED for music
LOTS of awesome graphics, cool transitions and effects. Thanks for this.
Holy hell! Super great pixel art, effects, transitions, everything. Just a tad "long", though.
well that was 16 minutes well spent!
That was awesome! Great effects, graphics and even the TED tune isn't bad. Great stuff Mad & Co, superp stuff! :)
Geil-O!
Cool demo, but the sound is really terrible.
Rocket Science indeed! \o/ Thanks BKN + TEK! :)
fuckin magic ♥ thanks for this trip =)
Awesome demo!
Thanks for the ride
mindblowing
Interesting, Beautiful & Fresh!
Stock Plus/4 masterpiece! And the unlimited part with scroll, so good!
Really impressive!
Unreal!
That was amazing. Some incredible artwork by Nero.
<3
great effects, colours and graphics! pure demoscene stuff.
Impressive on this machine.
just amazing, this demo has it all, great gfx, amazingly polished effects, great design and transitions, and awesome music too.
you guys have really outdone yourself this time.

MIND = BLOWN
this demo is a new milestone is the demoscene history!
everything is perfect! I'm still speachless after watching it :D

lot of work went into this one. some scenes were not so good, tedious even, but overall it's impressive
now that's a mega demo
Now that's oldschool with style! Not just a rehash of old effects, but also lots of new, very innovative ideas. Like Blueberry, I got very inspired by some of them! And I cannot begin to imagine just how much work went into this - outstanding!
One thing stands out like a sore thumb to me, though: Those stupid Amiga references, which didn't fit in at all and look like they were simply included to get cheers from the audience. This demo wouldn't have needed to pull off such cheap stunts to fish for votes.

you are insane
Ihr Kunden habt doch ne Vollmeise !!!
Seriously impressive amount of graphics, and some effects look more like ST/Amiga than 8 bit.
What the hell?! So fluid and pretty.
Massive!
Probably the best 8bit prod ever. But surely best on C+4. Deep respect!
Awesome & massive stuff in this mega demo !
**EXCELLENT**
More like mad science!
What a ride!
Very nice. Was awesome to see at the party.

Have to agree with the above, but a greatness level reached with the graphics and lovely transitions.

The designers of TED seem to have worked really hard to make a sound chip that is a complete bitch to carry a tune. this demo tries valiantly to overcome this.
best +4 demo to date, which mostly means beating the previous BKN prods.
yes, its that awesome.
yes, its that awesome.
fantastic
rulez
Just perfect...
I'll give you a thumb when I manage to watch this in its entirety, tried twice and it didn't engage me. The extremely mundane music doesn't help, but I know TED is a bitch and the track(s) aren't bad considering it. Massive props for the effects, design and overall effort.
just wow
Some of the screens and effects were nice, however, a very long trackmo like this needs better direction to keep things rolling. The YouTube buffering effect was a real mindfuck, though.
Hmm... something must be wrong with me, course I was not at all drawn to this. Music was empty and flat, gfx was cool and there is a lot of nice stuff and attention details, which is really awesome. BUT, somehow I managed to feel all bored and uninspired all the way through?!?!
But I reckon the design and overall awesomeness of this with a big fat thumb!

Absolutely epic in every way. I can only imagine how much work this took and I am just so happy to see this perfect example of an oldschool demo.
Awesome!
But the music makes my ears bleed. This is almost VCS2600 territory. Are the TED sound capabilities really that bad?

♥ awesome graphics!
♥ some very nice fx (never through possible I would someday enjoy an "unlimited bob" effect :)
music... meh.

music... meh.
great stuff !!
WOW! Damn great demo. You stole my (unreleased) youtube-buffering gag ;) Damn... now I have to do something different. Congratulations for the 20 Years!
Calexico: TED sound capabilities are not "that bad" (also, this song isn't bad - it's just long and not everybody can handle 16 minutes of 2 channels, but the C=16 / Plus4 scene consequently refuses to develop and release contemporary real music tracker for their own platform or even admit that all the existing music software is pile of crap and typing music in assembler is a shameful stone age.
Fantastic gfx and some effects/transitions. Music is good enough for the platform. Great job!
Nitro: It's only a memory matter. It would work on any C16 with 64K (like mine).
Possibly it could do more multiloading too, with the 16K RAM. But it is You to tell, not me. ;)

Par excellence.
A demo of a kind nowadays rare on 8-bit retro-demoscene: a demo with fresh effects and original artwork. Definitely thumb-up.
Crazy good !
Awesomeness \o/
great stuff, just imagine all the hard work it took to make this ...
Very impressive production, enjoyed every bit of it. Music was a tad too repeating for me though. But not sure if that was just because of limitations.
best production at this years evoke...
The "Plus/4" name refers to the four-application ROM resident office suite (word processor, spreadsheet, database, and graphing); it was billed as "the productivity computer with software built-in".
great work!
great work!
Blown away by this. Excellent work. I thought the music was good, but now knowing its only 2 channels! WTF! Great hackery!
Haa so awesome phat prod! Whow!
So much fun!
Who said, making great demos is no rocket science....It appears like it actually is :)
Amazing work! Love it!
Amazing work! Love it!
I'm not much into 8bit stuff, but WTF this one is EPIC!
amazing work of 8-bit art
Fantastic, great to see such effort put into the Plus/4, lots of content, with Offence-like gigantic scrolling pictures. Liked the zooming plasma!
Metamerism still remains my absolute favorite Plus/4 demo though! :)

masterpiece!
Tons of great effects and lovely graphics with fine tuned palettes. Some effects are too blocky for my taste.
No question, this is the best demo on the platform.
No question, this is the best demo on the platform.
awesome!
Unbelievable amount of unbelievableness.
Tonnes of great gfx and effects in there and an interesting theme/story keeping it all together. Enough content for two demos.. and I think that splitting it up like that would have made it even better
what everybody said <3
(didn't like the bouncy amiga ball at the end though)
(didn't like the bouncy amiga ball at the end though)
hellyeah.
Performance in all aspects
Commodore 16 FTW!
brutal demo. just wow. the whole thing is just teeming with cool effect ideas and optimized graphics. perhaps my most loved 8 bit demo so far. the music isn't everything, but what can you expect from a 2 channel square wave chip..
Massive!
gfx awesome
Platform killer!
Mad skills everywhere!
wait ... wat!?
Awesome demo :) Great effects & graphics! I know that musician did more than his best, but TED sounds pretty bad - I didn't know I will ever say that, but A2600 TIA chip sounds far better).
Thumbs up for massive work!
Thumbs up for massive work!
Best +4 group is back with an awesome demo :)
Fantastic demo, although the pacing was a off sometimes, and some effects maybe a tad too ambitious for the poor plus/4 (:
Still overall a great demo, and finally a proper long one that's pure TED.

insane!
A good demo.
Awesome but the chip sound is hard to handle during 16 minutes ! Sounds like a brain attack ! :)
Yeah, it rocks. Yeah it kicks ass. You guys have brought an epic demo, especially on such hardware. I admire your work, sincerely.
However, 16 minutes?! Scroll/sine texts / dejavu effects going on forever? Like plenty of people mentionned it at the party place, you should have split up the release into three releases (5 minutes long is quite enough). The infinite time demo and boring effects killed the whole thing to me :(

15 minutes with a too slow rythm, and a music that didn't work with me.
I don't thumb down because of the technique, but I don't thumb up either.

Party winner. Didn't feel like 15 minutes at all at the party, more like 5 :)
thank you.
oh yeah!
Mission Complete!
It's alright/decent, but a bit long.
wonderful!
Just awesome lo-tech voodoo. I'm stunned.
Extra like for the TED chip music... and NOT taking the SID mod.

I'm still shocked.. Pure 8bit art.. this is..
2014's 8-bit summer blockbuster! :)
Super impressive design/transitions and graphics (can't imagine how much work went into those), a lot of original effects that sometimes feel more 16-bit than 8-bit and even a touch of humour. Music isn't as impressive but I guess that's the best you can hope for with those hardware specs.

wonderful, good work!!!!!
Rules
nice stuff. thumb up for that. but long demo is long :P
thumb.
Great graphics, but TED sound...
Overall enjoyable.
Overall enjoyable.
wow, what a blast! with fresh effects! and ingo is a magician
Great!
<3
Awesome demo. Especially liked the tiny lil' chick dancing on greetings groups logos! Bauknecht, you guys rule!
dieses demo bietet eine bemerkenswert hohe qualität im angesicht der dargebotenen quantität
The GFX is awesome! Thanks for the ride.
Not a big fan of TED sound in general. But that being said this was massive. Great achivement!
Loving this <3
wow! coolz!
Impressive in every aspect!!
pure love, incredible work and result.... I really liked the greetings and the 3D scroller. Amazing graphs and a rather good music considering the hardware limitations.... Masterpiece.
great work! and obviously I love SciFi theme... you made it further but that's what I had in mind when creating Arsantica... :)
great!
Amazing!
This is massive! Great job everyone.
Awesome 8bit demo!
nice.
The stuff up to and including the disk flip was really fucking awesome!
Awesome show ending
awesome stuff, this roxx!
pocket science!
This is great not because it has great graphics or cool music or fantastic flow (not that anyone can seriously complain about any of these). This is great not because of the sheer amount of work on display here. For me, this is great because of the amount of invention regarding effects and transitions and just various ways of moving things across the screen. For me, as an oldschool coder, this was the most inspiring demo last year. I watched it several times and, every time, found new things I did not notice before. Thank you for this.
P.S. Sorry, I stole your Youtube joke. I could not actually remember where it came from, but now I do.

Forgot to comment this, but, so nice!
degauss quality prod
Missing thumb. Massive demo + some fx are truly inspiring.
:O
I came across this while looking for low-end chiptunes that didn't sound like chiptunes. Can't say I got exactly what I came for, but I ended up watching an amazing demo. Damn.
Incredible!
nice one
When the "flip disk" screen came up I was "WAIT THIS IS ONLY THE HALFWAY POINT?!". The effects just keep on coming! Some ended up longer than necessary imo but I don't mind, they're just so good and some are way beyond what I would have expected from any 8bit platform (probably just goes to show how much I know about 8bit platforms ;) ).
And for some reason I'm a sucker for Degauss' TED music - the almost atonal rhythms are really mesmerizing to me.

this is indeed, amiga quality on 8bit platform! all times hit!
VERY impressive demo. Awesome performance on the little machine with delicious graphics and mesmerizing music that brings you in trance. Awesomeness on a stick!
Thumb
Pure gold!
that's indeed pure rocket science! impressive and unbelievable!
