Very cool. For the impatient, the demo does evolve a bit and does have an end. I recommend waiting at least until the music starts to change a bit.
Also if you're having browser trouble viewing this, try Chrome. Safari fails at the WebGL context creation step, and Firefox at the audio context creation step. I figured this out before my last comment.
As a commentary addendum, it might be nice to see how it syncs to the original Sporel. :)

I partially rescind my comments about Firefox. You need some version greater than 22. (I had forgotten to update this box; I use it infrequently.)

Not entirely true. Firefox does support mp3 on platforms where it can use support built in to the system so they avoid the licensing problems of supporting it themselves. I don't know about other platforms, but Firefox on Windows has played mp3s for a few releases now. Though this isn't a guarantee for everywhere, so ... anyway, it's your prod. :)
