Looks really nice to the point that the tech doesn't really matter anymore. Trippy and enjoyable.
You know to expect something different when a MD demo doesn't rely on the "sega" shout at the beginning :)

wonderfully deranged, almost a noise demo for the megadrive... next time more coherency and sense of timing, and better music!

Nice video playback. Nice sound playback. Nice polygons and lines. Nice vertical-ish 3d. Nice a lot of things. Not so much into the mood of it. but that's cool. Thumbs mate

Nah, now that I've watched it a few times I actually really like the style.

Not my cup of tea.

In the youtube video at 1:49, how did you do this? I've been trying to do this but I haven't gotten enough horizontal interrupt cycles. I'm trying to stretch my scroll plane vertically by manipulating VSRAM at the scanline level.

Weird, I like it.

Since I'm not using floating point emulation on libgcc I had to modify your table generator quite a bit. Wonder why you're writing 21 vsram entries, changed it to 20.

Still not enough cycles!

Unrolled your loop in your h interrupt

Still not enough cycles!

Changed the h interval to 2 and modified the table generator again

Just right!!

I'm amazed it worked for you with an h interval of 1.

I was wondering if my z80 driver was taking up cycles during bank switching (as soon as it stopped bank switching the glitch-from-not-enough-h-cycles went away).

Anway, I'm glad I got your effect working. Good- good job!!

Thanks Sigflup! While it's the last kstorm demo, I really enjoyed working on this platform. Hope to see more from you and others to fill my everdrive!

Watched it using KEGA Fusion. The noise in the demo made me wonder whether the demo is working correctly with this emulator. But since the screenshot here on pouet is similarly distorted, I guess that's the way it was supposed to be. Sorry, not matching my taste. But cool that you are coding for SEGA Mega Drive, my favourite video gaming console.
