The ability to pass through the snake in the places where it has picked up a block was actually intentional (check the code to see for yourself!) :)
Anyway, the whole thing was done in an evening and while it has a bit more variation, user involvement and audio than Stingray's awesome 2nd place this one isn't exactly rocket surgery...
