Nice! i think we had a XOR'd texturemap version of this a few years back, can't remember who by though and it was 256b.
is so darn slow in dosbox, but 128b effect itself deserves a thumb up.
@rudi: it's probably caused by your dosbox version or configuration. it works pretty fine here under dosbox 0.74.
