extremely impressive 64k, even though the soundtrack is a remake of a pretty well known trance-track. :)
This should have WON :-)
definatly!
definatly!
yay!
stefan, of course this intro looks more completed and finished than FR's one and it should be 1st. Exploder shows a great progress.
Rendered dolphins always remind me of that Adiamus video. A bit too slow-paced (almost boring) but I liked it anyway. Beautiful and the music is impressive.
omg this music is bad, and the gfxs like logos too
boring scenes and ugly colors, sorry, not for me

should have been made on another plattform. anyway, it's great. superb soundquality and unbelievable 5.5 fps on my amiga 4060 ;)
...: the video has some bugs. could you reencode it please?

Really great!
I don't like the music, but otherwise quite impressive.
one of the most underrated amiga intros ever.
impressive
Christ man. Exploder is like the unsung hero of Amiga code. I can't believe you people give this guy a hard time.
I just saw it for the first time today, since i've had a piece of crap cpu in my miga. I am truly amazed by this ___64K___ intro!! Wtf wtf Exploder for president!

I'd like to see YOU pull this shit off on an Amiga dude! In die-hard assembly language. FFS give him some credit.

outrageous!
Impressive coding skills, but low quality result.
saw the video... quite cheesy but a very impressive 64k!
rulez!
only 9.4fps on my 060 but I like it ;o)
My dolphin wasn`t dreaming as this intro demands the trueaga.library. I don`t like intros that are only running with additional stuff, intros were originally supposed to run without anything else than the intro itself. If an intro can only be run with the help of libraries or fonts from outside, the byte limitation, here 64k, has totally lost its sense. Don`t you think so? As the person who has packed this intro together, forgot to include this library, there was no chance for me to watch it. Dream over!
Thumb up for the microcosm in this one.
great
I like it.
Nice one!
well, that intro remember me on one of my first trance video clips : "dolphin's mind" - the flow (deep), played on wdr hit clip and viva music tv.
and the song is very popular in the trance music scene, and one of my all time favourites: veracocha -carte blanche
releases:
Dolphin's Mind - The Flow (Deep)

Veracocha - Carte Blanche

so, it is a superb relase, but i had only seen the mpg, cause i got no good amiga emulator...

I actually find it very boring. The softsynth rocks but I don't like the music. :) The rest of the code is nice but not that impressive.
One of the greatest Amiga-intros ever.
Nice feeling, style and well synced scenes.
Great sound, good visuals.
nice trip
Slow but my favourite intro. Music and 3D is just amazing for 40k!!!
.
What ghandy said; plus this intro runs too damn slow on real hardware. Apparently it was coded and tested exclusively on emulators.
Very nice prod!
This production is incredible. This is definitely one of the most UNDERRATED intros of all time. Comparing the synthesizers to the original song, it's an almost exact match. Including this whole 3d stuff. Yes I agree it might be a bit cheesy, but remember that it's only 40 (FORTY!!) KiloBytes. ON AN AMIGA AS WELL.
Incredible is not even remotely close to how incredible this intro really is.

This intro is written for 68060 and should be watched on 68060. On my 68040/40 it needs 7 minutes for precalc and then it runs 3 fps.
the technical feat here is obviously quite impressive, but design-wise... well, I'll just say I can smell the mediterranean sea water and MDMA-induced chemical sweat. I think I'll have to take a shower now
Exploder is the most underrated demoscener in da world...
Beautiful!
Great demo.
amazing
This one rocks hard :) Very inspiring visuals with great melodic music :)
Unbelievable ! Super fx,music and colorfull!!!
I guess fine for its time and nice tech-wise, but wouldn't watch it again.
very good, great audio quality.
Well, FPS...
Cheese overload, but the good kind. Amazing synth and graphics for the platform and size. I really like the visual style, reminiscent of 80s offline computer graphics.
trance should be banned.
music is not my cup of tea but okish. the visuals on the other hand are meh. but 40k makes me pigg it.
Damn the sounds (not the tune) in 64K this "old"..
Its perfect cheese :)
Its perfect cheese :)
Cheesiest 64k I can name. Still a classic.
I love this more and more every time I end up watching it. Someone please make a VHS rip of this if you have the equipment! This is so aesthetically coherent, and even unironically so.
This is really fantastic. A 40Kb intro with a great soundtrack (the synth was very avanced for its time) with high color visuals that runs quite well on a 68040.
I don't care if it is cheese or not. :)

yes
very nice
that was smooth
i keep coming back to this one, and still like it as one of the best 90s techno tributes around - especially with this remaked version of original music (Veracocha - Carte Blanche) and cyber dolphins video ;)
yes it might be a bit 'cheesy', but that is another aspect of the tribute that those that know the original feeling surely recognize :)
and it all came out 17 years ago (!), on Amiga (!!), and in 40k (!!!).
what else to say other than i'd be sad to learn that EXPLODER is not doing something interesting today, not only in the scene but on this planet...

Nicely fits the late 90s, and is really watchable.
mind blown!!
nice for an 40k
Cool, but it works at reasonable speed in UAE only. It shutters even on overclocked 060/100mHz. So another fantasy "amiga" stuff.
This was epic and still is !!! Shutters ? Stutters ? I have watched it many times on my 060 and i think it was fast, but needs rewatched to chech ..

Maybe partially its fast in lowered resolution 2x2 mode. In original mode, some scenes works so-so, but other are so slow. It's impossible to achieve eg constant speed like in linked video on real classic 68k amiga.
After so many years thanx to pistorm32 and Emu68 you can run this production if full resolution on your A1200 at over 33 fps :D Great stuff.

does anyone know if the final version with RTG support ever saw the light of day?

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, click here !
But please keep the intros coming, and to compose some music yourself.. or let me do it for you ;)
