..but Crest can also do Blu Reu which is far less static. Nevertheless: awesome pixeling.
this is really one impressive graphics mode. a bit too many pics maybe, got bored sometime during the military hardware show. otherwise: fun prod!

But... As discussed on csdb, the excellent NUFLI mode is more dedicated for conversions (with some handmade corrections).
Will be difficult to judge during gfx-compo...

Sorry to ask but... What is REU ?

It's somekinda cartridge, but with a free RAM to be used.
In recent REU-Demos on the C64 the REU is 16MB in size. This is difficult to make in real hardware, so mostly the stuff is running on an emulator. The first show @Breakpoint2010 was awesome and there are some more Deekaymovies out there but it's getting boring just to use it as slideshow... even containing some pictures which seem to be converted, only. Although I know Deekay is someone who definately is able to do this by hand. But the rush of released NUFLI-Pictures has the bad aftertaste of just beeing sqeezed thrue some converter. I would like to see some more real Codingexperience with the REU, which is able to do so much more with it's DMA.

@Cryer you've checked the REU parts in here I guess? (just boot with REU enabled)
How the hell can I run this on Winvice? There isn't a prg to load as in BluREU. And what happens with WinVice and REU? BluREU reu is an empty file now, I copy it from the original archive but when I load it on Winvice it's an empty file. They say something is happening with vice and reu but I don't know how to avoid it.
Go to Settings->Cartridge/IO Settings->REU Settings
Enable REU, REU size 16384 kB and browse to wired.reu
Download http://jsidplay2.sourceforge.net/REU/nuvieplayer-v1.0.prg and drag and drop the file onto vice
