Zden´s weird dreams coming to scene again. Great.

great psychedelic mind fuck as usual!
It's like each pixel is it's own demo.
This actually might be my favourite from the compo! Especially towards the end it got fucking incredible.
Awesome demo! A real trip for the eyes and the ears. Satori has done it again. =)
i liked the last part. though the demo was not exactly stream-friendly, so i should watch a proper video.

massive love!
massive love!
Love it.
rulez but what kb said after the compo. you should try and make it faster.
My mind got raped. Not my cup of tea.
Love the music, but wish all the on-screen elements ran at the same damn FPS!
☑
Just about perfect. The best demo in the compo and Satori will always speak to my subconscious in a way no other group can, so that'll make it even more special for me, objectively speaking.
i love it. i love satori. i love zden.
My favourite from the compo
This demo hit the sweet spot.
The whole thing just went directly under my skin and stayed there, unlike some other entries which were stunning yet sort of ... "obvious?" compared to Kobian.
The demo was very touchy-feely-emotional as well, at least to me. And that's a good thing. Thank you, Satori <3

This is something else.
The usual "dude, what :D" satori stuff
Usual Satori stuff. Starts with lines and somehow has a more heavy interesting rendering as it grows up. Though, you have to be in the right mood to enjoy.
best in the compo.
love.
love.
Wow that was like a 90's chillout room video, the music was really great aswell, thanks for the ride :)
EYECANCER!
Loved the chaos. Music fits perfectly.
Nicely done.
Nicely done.
I am a huge fan of Satori demos but somehow this one failed for me. It was all right nevertheless.
thank you thank you thank you
kewl
rules as a glitchfest, fails as a demo.
Neat soundtrack.
Neat soundtrack.
dragged on awhile but some nice chaotic effects
I liked the ending. Otherwise it didn't get to me at all, at least not on the stream.
dont work on gforce260, utube plz !
two thumbs for the sense of control of the feedback. Good stuff \o/
I almost get the feeling that there is some kind of "emperors new clothes"-thing going here.
Watching the compostudio and many of the comments here, you almost get the feeling that you're supposed to think that Satori demos are great, otherwise you just "don't get it"
Well, I'm going to speak my opinion here, and that is that to me, this simply looks like a bunch of buggy winamp visualizers layered on top of eachother in one big mess.

I must admit Satori demos are original (dreamy chaotic style, sw render). But they are not my favourite.
The beginning was nice, but as the demo progressed I just couldn't stop myself from thinking that I need to finally turn off the winamp visualizer because it's driving me mad. I do admire the amount of work that has been put into this production though, so a piggie from me.
I like how they completely discard common rendering paradigms and stick to their crude tech and even cruder (but very distinct and recognizable) style.
The downside is, that it's hardly real time anymore. Especially the first part seems to be very demanding on the cpu, running at 5 fps or so on a fairly recent i3. Maybe some proper multi-threading could help.

Some people enjoy watching the same batch of 10+ year old effects ported to every 20+ year old platform they can find. Other people enjoy watching winamp plugins demos. I don't see why one is more credible than the other. Either way, if it works for you and you can get something out of it, good for you. :)this simply looks like a bunch of buggy winamp visualizers layered on top of eachother in one big mess
Awesome. My favourite in the compo.
nice one, and the ending is excellent
Different, but nice in its way...
Satori, and the last third is amaaaazing.
Food for psychedelic souls, what to say more :)
Finally I could run it, doesn't run since total commander here. I don't like it but well done controlled mess I think.
excellent, great soundtrack too!

Please try to optimize it for more cores.
Fails to appeal to me but i appreciate the effort put into this.
it feels like the successor of b10 but way more advanced and in HD. I love it!
I rarely thumb down, but this was way too messy and/or lenghty.
i usually hate noise demos, but actually this was sort of controlled noise and even the soundtrack was good
This is great! Felt so fresh during the compo, really stood out from the mass. Great atmosphere and soundtrack. In deep retrospect it's slowly climbing to be my favourite in the compo.
what Bobic said.
altho i normally like that psyk-stuff !

Some great visual-jocky stuff here. I'd love to get my hands on the new Circulation engine. Great line effects and that weird floatcolor melter is brilliant!
Fails to display anything on either screen, just goes fullscreen black and plays music.
Worked in windowed, but at a low framerate.
Somewhat cool stuff, but too long.

Lovely!
Perfect marriage between music and visuals.
i partucularly enjoyed the final effect (kind of reaction-diffusion...?)

Absolutely massive track. Demo starts a bit slowly but gets better with every minute passing. Loved the feedback effects and this very distinct very software rendered down-to-the-last-pixel style. Didn't love the fps or lack thereof tho - using more than one CPU core should help there.
Should've ranked way higher but oh well, Satori demos were never particularly tailored for entertainment hungry party audiences anyway. :)

It's a shame this prod gets overlooked with the big players out there, because it's stylistically and sonically, very cool indeed.
VIDEO IT PLZ :)
Moral winner and besides it made my horrible Saturday night slightly better. This is something to remember. Thank you.
just love it!
Pure beauty. Especially the last minute or so is utterly awesome. Props on getting the Altparty prize.
i really like the soundtrack with it's well-balanced mixture of fucked up beats and smooth melodies. the visuals alternate between awesome and slightly ugly.
all in all a beauty.
all in all a beauty.
First part was meh, last part awesome. Works only windowed here in XP SP3 with newest Quadro FX580 drivers and DX.
it's as if someone put an LFO on the "awesome"-knob. thumbs up for the final 20 seconds though.
Love the music and the level of detail in the visuals, plus we should see more soft rendering demos! Fully deserved the Most Original Entry prize, and hope to see you at the Alt Party :-)
Music is great and the last couple of minutes is absolutely awesome just for depth and spot on sync, it really gave it a sense of surprise to every chapter in the story.
Absolutely loved this, zden - great to be able to chat about it (at length; sorry!) too.
Also loved your soundtrack, distance :)

wow. Too bad it stutters here on a quad-core, the video is less sharp.
Lysergic acid diethylamide overdose.
One of my highlights of Assembly. Thanks for this Zden!
Yeah, rules :) Especially the end part.
makes me go 'wow' in many different ways. generally i'm edging towards good, so: thumb.
Way too long and not my cup of tea at all...
satori
I don't get the hype. Still don't like the visuals except for the last part that has something.. something.. And I suddenly started to love the soundtrack, so no thumb down.
beautiful, where I can get the track? =)
On a second thought, all this stuff happening all over the place. As you watch it more and more you come to appreciate the underlying complexity and eventually fall in love with it.
So, devising from my previous comment: It is gorgeous.

Looks like Winamp visualisator with all that aliased lines and messed palette.
Anyway, the soundtrack is good.

Mm, reminds me of Autechre's Gantz Graf music video. As Decipher said, after watching it over and over, there's always something new jumping out at you. I like <3
strange/sick style, but I liked it this time
Best mood I got from this in the compo. Thumbs up for the intense patterns and music!
I must say, I usually hate psychedelic stuff, especially when there's goa-trance involved ;)
This, however, is an awsome example for a good approach.
The tune is great and gradually builds up an arch - which is vital for the visuals to take effect.
The last scenes where just off the charts :) ... no, no substances involved.

Amazingly job done here!
Most psychedelic Crew on da Scene <3

the end part is finely distilled 100% pure awesome!
Utterly boring.
nice
thumbs up
len tak dalej, len tak dalej ;)
ZOMG
Whoa, just watched the HQ video. It's like a whole different demo! Much coolder!
sound and visuals are not my cup of tasty tea. but on the other hand it's not really ugly. so piggie.
guter stoff

Ha, exactly what was running through my mind - it felt very clear and ordered, though didn't fail to deliver the decomposing effects later on.
killer track (pressed on vinyl), great visuals
different
rubbish
hey why not?!
blown away, very intentionally orchestrated chaos and gorgeous track.
Simply, Satori! :)
