Great intro. The buildings are awesome, awesome plasma, and the dancing robot animation is well done.
YT or VIDEO plz ...
Awesome!!! Dancing is really well made!!
Very cool. Quite an obvious winner.
Cute dancing robot YAY! =D <3
dancing robot!
not winner in my books, not even in the top3 for that matter, but 'twas great still :)
Det her var bare helt konge!
overall impressive!
Good one, but liked Hotel Bar Heroes more...
yay! great prod
The robot is a huge bucket of win :)
Of course the dancing robot, and a general good looking intro!
oops, crashing before starting here, don't know if its coming from my ATI 5770 gfx card?
I dig that freaking mocap! Lovely.
Sorry, to much Michael Jackson dance moves, and to much basic buildings.
Loved it. Very nice production
musik was ok. but the rest is kinda
i was hoping the robot would smash the skyscrapers. the dancing was too soft imho. but overall a nice intro.
fuck, that robot rules so much!
Didn't start to run on Win7 64bit here.
michael jackson approves of this 64k!
also, cities.. eh? :)
also, cities.. eh? :)
grah thumb
Impressive and good work... Thanks
wow
Saying no to robot movements, but rest was fine
face it. that robot dances better than all sceners in here.
Phantom lord was good, but if this doesn't win, there's no justice in the world.
you really groove guys and glue me to the scene forever ;).
Black screen on ati 5870, win7 x64.
Black screen on XP/GF260
Loved the city stuff and the robot; perhaps the strongest 64k since Panic Room <3
Wins as a 64k intro as it looks and sounds good. Fails completely as an invitation, because it lacks party infos.
Very Cool! :)
video pls
Single-scene-64k. Okayish enough (the animation is nice), and that's all.
I didn't realize it was a party invitation before I saw the nfo :-)

Nice city, and funny idea to put buildings as gears, cityballs, etc. The robot okaish.
You guys just rule, didnt expect the robot at all! (I stalked you)
City looked pretty basic, nice dancing robot though.
Black screen seems to be caused by dual screen setup, went away for me when I turned off my second screen.

Honestly speaking, I expected to see some static look-our-super-renderer-flyby, but was positively surprised by the dynamic content.
Great!
Funky robot!
Robot is systematic.
Watched it on YT and its nice :)
Exits silently on my W7 64 bit machine.
that looks like me. drunk dancing.
Hmm... I miss some more kewl content :)
The robot is one ugly mofo! ...but dances very well :)

nice dof, and the dancing is way cool
cool bot, cityballs
disco robod ok.
Liked the robot, everything prior to that was meh. As this falls into my wouldn't watch again directory i can only give it a piggy. I did enjoy it more from the robot onwards though.
How the fuck did this get 1st.
Dance funky robot, dance
robot!
dancing!
gargaj tune!
winnah!

Oh yeah, powerful! Soundtrack please. :)
Great soundtrack, effects also rule, especially the dancing robot.
nice city anims! Scroller was hardly readable though. Nice dancing too!
Dancing robot and music are fantastic. The rest is OK.
Dancing robot
not very interesting.
Motion capture ?
really professional. Ran like a dog here but then whats new. Nice camera, nice effects, nice city, nice dancing. Nice. Very.
whatever another upthumber said.
yay the robot animations are dope
Good robot animation although it dances out of tune.
great beat... c00l dancing bot... *thumb up*
elektrikboogeyyy!
standard portal process quality
ghey robot. but nice
very cool
Did someone mention the robot?
nice one. great animation / motion captioning in 64k!
whoa funky robot rock :)
cool! very nice music, and the citys also quite nice..
Wow! Just plain wow!
Very cool!
cities and dancing robots ... thats a concept that never fails if its done in a good way, which is the case here :)
about 5fps on my machine... nicely sounding music and super-nice dancing robot.
Running on WinXP/GF9800GT resulted in opening two invisible windows, one named error.
Video looks great!
Video looks great!
Dancing bot was great! (motion-wise)
nice dance
and dont forget to come to Ine.. Function !
and dont forget to come to Ine.. Function !
the 3d-font and the robot somehow felt out of place (at least with this colorscheme).. the other parts were nice though.
Great city/buildings, dancing robot, good sound. Very Great !!!
Loved it. Tried to read the scroller but then figured out it was just greets. Whatever.
More dancing robots!!!
More dancing robots!!!
This could have been way more. But I won't complain about what it actually is.
The city is marvelous, looks great
"Could not create device" here too. WinXP SP3, Quadro FX580 with newest driver + DX.
after watching it, i thought that this could've been more somehow.
the soundtrack is mediocre in my opinion.
but the dancing robot saved it for me - so a weak thumb up.

some nice ideas but the musix sux and scenes are too slow :/
Love the DOF, love the scenes, great 64k !
Congrats for the first place also, you clearly deserved it!

Was slow even on my 5870, but great demo... Shame ATI sucks at rendering them...
like it even if small dof doesn't fit a city scene
very good job in all departments.
too bad its the only 64k i had to watch the crappy youtube-version, as the binaries left me with a black screen :/

portal process can do a lot better.
Yes.
Some good stuff here.
bloody damn impressive. there's virtually nothing in this intro which isn't polished to the max. steel and glass are for winners!
Really nice rendering, especially the DOF because it's tough not to make that look cheesy, and yours was far from it. I really liked the dancing robot, though I thought he lacked a bit of passion; seemed a tad, dare I say, robotic? :D
Very nice.
Very nice.
for the dancing robot.
was slow as hell on my machine ;)

Vi dansar som robotar! :D Nice robot moves!
supports theory:
robots == instant win
robots == instant win
blank screen win7 x64,gtx470
enjoyed the video though.
enjoyed the video though.
working final?
What about different resolutions? It seems that the intro just maximize to desktop resolution, and that is NOT an option on my 2048*1536 desktop :)
Dette var bra saker. Heia Norge!
"Best dance in demo" nomination candidate?
it feels unfinished. got something good going, but ain't exploiting it good enough. piggy!
It's OK. I like the tune.
nice
"Best dance in demo"
with Robot :p
with Robot :p
I'm kinda with quisten here, but can't thumb down that robot.. and what is up with the purple text in the beginning, ugly as fuck! (not the message, but the color, the font, the motion, the "hey lets make it look like something from 1998)
Nice
Neat buildings, awesome breakdance animation, and cool music. Well done!
Average one...
Video looks promising, but it doesn't run here (WinXP, SP3, GForce 9500 GT). It obviously tries to put an error message, but even fails doing that. A fixed final is strictly appreciated! ;)
Dont run on my PC, Isn't available resolution select, piggy
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

Watched on youtube thanks to black screens on ati, looked ok. I like the window lights and shadows, not sure if dancing can ever not look slightly awkward but this was a good attempt.
Rippling buildings remind me of STS-02 electric kool-aid, i think i've seen it in more demos. Is it a reference to something or is it simply a cool thing to do with buildings?

except a few scenes this looks very empty
I like the cityscape and the reference to "debris", but I totally miss the Moonwalk!
smash code here. Slow, slow and slow.
It's running extremely slow. Nevermind, good one.
+ city generator
+ transparency on robot
+ skyscrapers on spheres is cool
+ people turn the lights on and off all the time
+ dancing
+ cool music
- naff x-marks the spot logostuff in the beginning..
- something sucks about the ground floor of the buildings

quite enjoyable
Quite an original prod. Instant win!
(still i'm with the others here, it needs a resolution selector with several options as enable/disable vsync and the like in exchange with some bytes...)

This focusing looks really good.. Scroller is close to unreadable, but looks good. 3rd place for me in the compo.
i like
slow but original.
X marks the dancefloor
Cool dancing and music but way too slow for a thumb
the city is fantastic, love it <3
nice !
Nice 64K
Move like MJ !
Cool. I know that building-textures-in-the-shader paper... ;)
does not run here. the robot is nice, scroller is almost unreadable ;)
i dunno. piggieface
i dunno. piggieface
Is it just me or do the buildings at times look really small (like toys). Apart from that: solid prod!
Nice moves!
Like it, especially the dancer and the music :)

visually pleasing buildings, kickass tune and a dancing robot
rather ugly and music is just horrible.
Robot has some nice moves. But sadly I don't like this prod.
well it's not really my cup of tea but this prod deserves a good thumb up.
What rez said.
There is quite a bit of wasted potential here as it's basically the same 2 scenes all the time (city, dancing robot). I have a soft spot for these cityscapes though so I don't really mind and the dancing robot is quite nicely animated. However, some more interesting scenes would have made the intro much better IMHO. Music is not really my cup of tea but doesn't annoy me either so it's fine. Greetings part is really nice as well.
Definitely deserves a thumb up anyway!

Hm, seems I'm the only one not convinced by the dancing robot. :-/ Its moves look very... confined? Inhibited? Strangely unfitting to the size and build of the robot body? I find it hard to put into words, but to me they have some weird and off-putting dynamic (or better, lack thereof).
Music is okay, although a bit too much the usual style. Some of the city scenes are quite nice though. The text in the beginning is indeed ugly.
Overall a piggy.

nice enough
the robot could have had more radical moves :)
