4MB? That's a rather big 1KB :D
Too slow. The radial blur needs more samples or a different technique. Looks strange.

decent upgrade to IND
bump and hustle! I do get black interference bands on the lower half of the screen, maybe that's what's hinted at above but I dig this one
i totally enjoyed this.. good job :)
roxx !
The radial blur is very blocky at hires but the overall effect is so good its definitely a thumb.
for the size
I like it

what toxie said
sry no offence but it looked really bad at my pc, everything is really blocky and at the back it looked very liny (?), but this could be improved with a faster turning ball, some better effects and some great music (and not a fixed camera angle)

and ofc do it all in 1k plz, kthxbyethis could be improved with a faster turning ball, some better effects and some great music (and not a fixed camera angle)
There seems to be some artifacts, and radial blur is ineed very blocky but I'm glad you guys (at least you, Tigrou) are moving beyond 256b's. More bytes == more coolness. I hope you'll release some kickass 4k one day. :)

Yes, the discoball should rotate faster (there should be more action) and the volumetric light thing is kind blocky but nice anyways.
Win7 hates your mirror ball. Capture looks ok though.
could/should be better
(it should be made by a true disco music lover!)

:( "safe" version crashed hard here ):
Less impressive at 1K than IND is at 256b, but that doesn't make it any less clever.

4mb download for a 1k intro?
Ah OK, it was the video capture :). Next time, should you put the video into another file / youtube?
As 1k intro, a cool effect!

actually this is not bad but compared to the 256b it is just okish. but if i had seen this without knowing the 256b thingie i would have thumbed it up. so here we go :D
even the safe version crashes on my win7 64bit :(
Crashes on Win7 64bit, but works fine under WinXP 32bit (only there are some unwanted pixels in safe version).
Very watchable - cool rays hitting the screen!

Long time ago, I started working on some rendering sphere algo. I show results to pirx, and as he seems interested, we develop an asm version. I was not satisfied of the results and I decided to rewrite it as a 1k intro.
The problem is that it seems pirx not feel so excited with that new version, looks like he do not want to left the 16-bit area so easily. Finally (after pirx beg me) we release the asm intro.
Now, rather than letting it dying on my hdd, I have decided to take some time to finish and share that stuff
