cracktro is back as integrated intro, well done! (nfo is worth reading)

I have been waiting for this for a long time for cracktros to become integral again and this is a really excellent remake of Papillions intro to get the ball rolling.

Ok cool one. I remember it very well, but it is not the best cracktro (ever). Did you forget Ikari crack with with Laxity's tune (for exemple for The Last Ninja 2)? What about the Dynamic Duo (Alley Cat) or Relax (Barbarian), or Fairlight's famous one? Use wisely your words dudes, since the younger fellows will not know the truth.

You should also mention an interesting anegdote, that the Papillons' "theme" was made by EVS/2oCC and was stolen from him on some (Venlo?) party.

Piggy...

Well... it IS a classic... And I am a crakcto-addicted dude... Rulez. BUT ONLY since it was made by the famous Papillons Inc...

The original C64 intro is still one of my favorites and this remake is nicely done. However, I'm getting tired of all these remakes. Also, you should respect the old group by at least spelling the name correctly (it's Papillons, not Papillions, might be nitpicking but IMHO it's not too hard to look up the name of the group that originally made the intro. That being said, nice remake but still a pigface.

what justifies the 207kb here? not to be nitpicking, but this is ridiculous.

also, how much did it take to get this one to be as ugly as the orignal papillons intro from the c64? :)

if it's the sidplayer that takes up that much space, you'd be better off with a tracked cover of the tune in addition with a tiny modplayer. if your excuse is to keep the "original vibe" of the sid for old times sake because you're already old and deeply involved in the scene for ages, then be assured of the fact that the sidplayer library you guys used mangled parts of the tune.

i still think that this one is fun, but as an old time crack intro lover, take a look at the size, for the minimalist sake.

What StingRay said. Cool thing to integrate the intro to the cracked game though. Much whining from torrent kids ahoy :)

Thumb for finally bringing back cracktros into the large air. It was about time (perhaps this will spark new interest in the scene?).

18 years later, the file manages to be 30 times bigger than the original with absolutely no added value whatsoever. Congrats for that.
