Well, best one in the compo. As a demo it was very good, but I didn't personally like it.

Extremely boring and very generic space operaish type of demo, definitely not my cup of tea (well, maybe if it actually did something I haven't seen a million times before)

I'm a huge fan of all space related stuff and I was happy to see this demo had many awesome looking scenes (like the one in the screenshot)

looked reaally nicein the stream, i just hope it works even better in hd-o-vision ;)

running smooth on a X800 .. donno if something's missing .. but .. way to short to say its good .. and .. I've got better images in my head 4 that kind of .. 'title' .. and .. sry 4 the 'lag' producing the competition .. :( ..

BTW: Who already set the rank of our demo as 1st? I didn't when I created the entry here...and basically I would prefer to wait for the pricegiving to set a rank for it.

Honestly i'm not sure about it right now. Maybe I was a little drunk when it was on the bigscreen. Will have to watch again before giving a thumb

Pity, the beginning is great with very beautiful scenes, the fire part too long and the demo too short !!

Some beautiful scenes here, but so slow...

Decent demo with some nice graphics and atmsophere. The vibrant colour scheme worked really well and makes a refreshing change.

i saw the title and the first screen i got this weird feeling of hoping that this would turn out fantastic because the premise was excellent... it did sadly fall thin.

the direction is very elongated (slight changes in the camera would've been preferred), the visuals look great but they never actually contribute to the narrative; e.g. i understand the symbolism behind the head but it's too... tacky, i guess, plus the lighting on it kinda made the whole scene very opengl 1.1 (same goes for the spaceship which obviously had the idea with the title displayed in world-space, but the model itself was so underdone...)

the premise gave me hopes that you guys would pull of something like Relic and i can see that it was counted as a possibility but you can almost smell the deadline incoming, along with "ok, fuck it."

it really could've been amazing.

oh and it ended just when the narrative got interesting :(

I liked it, but I think you could improve some parts a bit. (how the other people here said). Anyway: Good for a partyversion.

I thought it wouldn't run in my old PC but it did. It's some a short story that reminds me the 2012 theories ;P

Nice visuals and a very fitting soundtrack. The idea itself has much more potential than shown in the demo, but maybe there will be a second part ;)

Boy was that face out of place, and super-annoying Z-fighting-thingies when the planet got blown to bits. Not "bad"-looking overall, but just.. meh. Forgotten it already.

The music in the beginning made it feel like a movie, and in a good, epic way. Then, it all went downhill. The displacement shader thing was kind of nice but not enough for the entire demo.

I would like to withhold my thumb for the final version...

There's already some nice stuff there: good music, nice space/cosmology theme (quasar destroying planets..I just love stuff like that :-) ), some beautiful scenes (see screenshot) and one or two very nice effects. But on the other hand it looks very unfinished (crude looking spaceship...and please scrap that alien head, it just looks too cheesy).
With some extra effort this one has the chance to become quite an "epic" production. Keeping my fingers crossed for the final....

To be honest, I expected some deeper story after reading the title of the demo. But nevertheless, Thumb up - it is a solid production.

I hate to say it, but I don't remember this, and there were just 3 productions. The other two were stronger obviously, as, well, I just don't remember this at ALL. (I do remember trying to get phonecalls to work, so maybe that's why.)

Hm... was looking really good until that ugly head model appeared. Then the final scenes.. kind of cool, but perhaps lacking just a little in execution. I don't get why there's a reflection of the planet for instance, or why the planet breaks into pieces but the pieces just stay fixed in position.

Pig for now, perhaps the final will raise it :)

First half looked promising and nice. Second half kind of "killed" the demo for me :/

I like it. It's put together very well and the music is awesome for a demo of this style. The space craft at the beginning and the head don't really fit into it though ...
