dont expect any art or design in this demo
this demo was just a therapy for my mind and a tutorial for my skills

i'll try to comment it as i do it for other productions
- 2d gfxs are pretty cool
- 3d textures sucks
- 3d scenes sucks but are not boring
- transitions rulez
- musicS are good, and 2 musics in one demo is a rare thing nowadays
- code is good but not used at 100% of the capacity
- design is poor, and look like old amiga demos
- i prefer the smoker scene

so just an ok prod, try to do better next time
[no vote as usual for own prod]
Textures suck, some 3D crawls and that final part is short.

But, BOY is this fresh! And it feels like Amiga all over. And transitions are cool, so are the muzaks. :-)

7th place?!

whatever it was, it excited me for the moment I was watching it, and that's all that matters. 8) I won't say that there's no design, you have pretty cool transitions (while most of nowadays demos just tend to show scene after scene after picture after scene), and some funny oldskool-mockery effects.
what makes me wonder is why the 3d looks skippy at times.. it sure doesn't seem all too complex and my gf3 should chew it up quite happily I suppose.

yessss!!!
I love this amiga-demo-rythme!!
(unison, u rocked the oldskool master moby's music style:)))

more than a ok prod:)

Ha! Looks like an A1200 demo circa 1992 or something. Moves along at a good pace and never stays at anyone effect for too long. Three and a half minutes is a good length for a demo of this type.

This one deserves a much better place. Stupid voting isn't it?

Zone: your comments are pretty much right.. and your 2D gfx saved the day :)
In my opinion, the short space part with the different music was a bonus too...

Zone, you don't give yourself enough credit - that was awesome!

There wasn't anything I didn't like about it. I can't wait to see the next one...

zone: there may be demos with better textures and 3d scenes, but... i'd much rather watch this than some perfect but boring 3d gfx.
so all thumbs up.

nice work! big 3d demo which doesn't fall in the "boring flyby"-categorie (:
funky music, transitions and gfx.

This production is really in mind of the scene.

Beautiful work and thanks to the team for this demo!

The scene did not really die.

a good demo, nice effects , the credits-scene is not terrible and too long.

Oldschool in a refreshing way. Music fits, design is a little messy, but good (transitions!), some better textures/scenes here and there would have been cool.

Nice demo...
Brought back good old amiga feelings! Oldschool way all through the show...but not looking ugly (as several today's wanna-be-oldschool prods!!)

Really can't understand the 7th place though! It would have deserved a higher rating!
Compared to 6th till 3rd place the prods are worse than this one!!

BTW: Is there already a release of the 2nd place somewhere? Couldn't find it till now!

All in all: Thumbs up for a nice done prod!!

I've seen better, the music is weird (just not my style), but the entire thing is OK!
But not on steroids :)

I really like this one! The way the effects are linked together reminds a lot of good demos of the mid-nineties and it's fun to watch, never boring (and that tends to become rare!).
It's also pleasant to hear a good melodic music (compared to the current industrial trend) and to enjoy great gfx during the show...
Good work Zone and the other Marshals! I really think your demo deserved a much higher rank!

enjoyable and entertaining all the way. it does never become anything even slightly related to boring.

Hmm, didn't really like it, but maybe it would have been better if it had run faster. I agree that the textures were bad. There wasn't enough design for my tastes. The scene with the earth was quite nice. Elevator music.

a nice colorfull candy.

i like most of it except the wolf3d-like part with those ugly walls and the lame text technical details (those 2^n polygons used or something else, like 1x1 rotozoom). come on we aren't in 92 anymore, people are educated enough to appreciate demos without the technical details.

still it has effects & graphics and just doesn't show only 3d, which is quite uncommon in french democompos.

and ++ for the original transitions.

btw, don't pay attention to party results nowadays especially in france, the objective for a demo is to be ranked at the highest prime number.
