good effect ideas, nice music and well-done transitions between the scenes, i recommend this one.

I like this demo because of colours, music and very smooth fx! They maybe simple fx but they are very smooth. I usually find hardly a demo running in full frame rate anymore :P
Here is another one!

a newskool intro against newskool intro
nothing to say, see just the last effect
with a beautiful cube, nothing more.
when it was worth to code, then it's worth to see. music is nice, not stunning, and i liked also the fx with splitting parts of the screen to smaller and smaller rectangles..

This one is phun, nice transitions, good music, and a little humor factor... Good work guyz

Boring...Yet another
intro about cubes. I'd rather watch the original REAL oldskool Amiga intros than lack of complexity masquerated as oldskool style.

Kozmik you can say something after you make something better, ok?

the musics suck. mainly because rjv made them.

Yeah...

The tune is awful, really. The effects are well coded, certainly, but perhaps it should be called "Who needs design anayway"?

not _very_ interesting...

That effect with a part of the screen splitting into 4 smaller pieces, scrolling to each other, then each to 4 smaller pieces, etc. with the phenomen of forming the old object,. mmm... interesting!
added on the 2004-06-20 00:28:22 by Optimus Optimus
But it might work only for a specific width of pixels. And I don't know if after the scrampling of the smallest pixels, the coder just fakes by displaying and starting again from the starting bitmap, or it's really true, e.g. there is really a theorem saying that with the specific width, scrabling pixels this way you get the starting piece. Mmm..
added on the 2004-06-20 00:32:41 by Optimus Optimus
I remember my university computer graphics lecturer telling us that if you rotate pieces of the picture like in the intro, you eventually get the original back, but only rotated 90 degrees.

Anyway, a really nice intro-

I always liked this. Effects are just ok but the music and feeling are great.
rulez added on the 2004-07-20 09:28:46 by dairos dairos
preacher: that's exactly what it does... if you look closely, it DOES rotate 90 degrees every time.

For the effort.
There are quite a lot of rough areas, but some good stuff as well.

cool intro, but the "poetry" (?) sucks.

I think we all need ray-tracing; especially after seeing this.

i can't run this. video?
Try the /m parameter to skip mmx check. Works for me on Windows 10 where it didn't before. (also /w for windowed if that causes problems)

this bugs out entirely in wine and all the text is replaced with various graphics from other windows, to the point where i kept repeatedly seeing the fiddler status bar. i'm not sure if it was better or worse this way.

cool cube intersection effect, but the rest is horrible
