Very nice demo, not only the usual 3d fly-by. Nice blurs and 3d-plasmas. Seems that haujobb is going to find the right colors :)

Pretty badass, but 27 megs? 27 #$%ing MEGS?%$!?

Nagz has another hit song, but the PC scene shouldn't let one guy do all their music work (remember Dune, Distance?)

I think that it's better than fr demo.. great style/gfx/music and.. code! good job hellfire!! but.. I have a problem i have to press space frame to frame to watch the demo :? (WindowsXP+Geforce2mx+21.83)

Another 'typical' Haujobb demo, which means I liked it. Although perhaps not as much as some previous efforts...

no thank you.
hmmm.. usually i really like haujobb demos but...

nice typical haujobb style and colors, and like always, music rocks!

as fiver2 said.. I'm a big fan of hjb stuff, but this one just doesn't seem to work. some scenes look really nice tho. and a great tune of course.

I kinda wish the demo could keep up better with the energy of the soundtrack. It just keeps switching back and forth between 6 or 7 effects.
added on the 2001-11-05 17:56:06 by phoenix phoenix
My favourite demo from Dialogos. Really cool. A bit repetitive effects (just a few of them repeating over and over), but the music, the synching and the blur+distortion effects makes it a whole thumbs up :)
rulez added on the 2001-11-05 21:55:03 by Jcl Jcl
Awesome.

It looks a bit rushed (repeating parts? Music loop?) but the stuff that is actually there is top-class haujobb quality.

One of the best demos this year.
rulez added on the 2001-11-05 21:59:27 by Jare Jare
I like this one very much. Would be an instant classic if it wasn't because some parts seem to be missing some sync and some ugly envmaps. Really nice music
rulez added on the 2001-11-05 22:52:48 by mac mac
Very-very good. Should have done better in the compo imho.

Two complaints, though: Actually it should have been *shorter*, without replaying the same effects over and over (Phoenix, Jcl). Also, this is Yet Another Haujobb Production Which Requires Constant Mouse Movement (YAHPWRCM for short). Trace, we seem to have the same problem.

And Haujobb guys... what is there not to understand? :-)

Very cool prods!
Nice music and some effects.
it seemed to differ from the demo of old Haujobb.

far from the usual HJB quality ... i even deleted it, after viewing ...
Too bad, guess i'l have to wait their next release .. :(

damnit shut the fuck up
the 'usual haujobb' demos lately have been a bunch of 3d scenes with overlays. this rocks.
added on the 2001-11-06 19:12:41 by superplek superplek
sorry, I haven't got anything to say about this demo, and I'm just saying some stupid "flaming other people bullshit". I'm just getting a bit tired... I'm very sorry..

hmm, last 3? demos from haujobb was not accelerated and rarely had any 3D. with the exception of "we (took the greenpill)" which was just another boring demo with only bunch of 3d scenes with overlays.
But when you forget that boring demo, there was few demos which aren't much good at all, but those haven't got 3dscenes with overlays.
I don't know what I'm saying.. probably just "learn your history before bullshitting".

Well this one was pretty lame... Almost no syncs, the f/x didn't fit each other, there was no dezign and almost no coherence.

Some f/x were pretty cool tho (especially the "volumetric" rendering thing) and the soundtrack was kick-ass.

Not rulez, not sucks, just a pigs face for this one...
added on the 2001-11-14 20:25:24 by uncle-x uncle-x
You guys who've been getting no syncs.. reboot and try again, it's worked for me. The intro voice sample should say "here we go-go-go-go.." (one long echo), if it sounds like "here we go-go" (long break) "go-go" it's fucked and the demo won't synch right. Compare what you hear in the demo to the MP3. This calls for a final version. :)
added on the 2001-11-14 21:09:56 by phoenix phoenix
This is pretty good. Better than fr's sculpture imo. Some nice effects and music is very good. Not "usual" hjb-demo though.

okay droid i was referring to mosaik and moments (it's true that we took the greenpill and whatever else got released werent slideshows and i must say i liked some of that stuff).

I really like this one. gfx are a bit too colourful and some parts are damn ugly, but music really rocks and everything fits well into each other.
rulez added on the 2001-11-23 21:06:21 by raymon raymon
I won't say it's another "one of the same" haujobb demo, cause it is not. Nice colors, nice gfx, although a bit boring. You should see it.

I love this, especially because of the music which sort of sticks to you :)

Very different from the usual Haujobb demos, but definitly not bad. With TNT2 it was much to slow, but with GF2 it's an entertainer :)

it managed to produce ONE SINGLE FRAME in about 50 seconds...
reboot/etc did not help

wow, it needs a keypress in every frame, then it works :)
i must admit, this is probably the lamest bug i've seen lately...
added on the 2005-01-28 00:00:10 by blala blala
blala: welll that happens to be a standard bug in older hjb intros/demos :) quite funny. took me some time to figure that out myself too ;). concerning the demo: nice gfx and music. average code. still nice tho

Well, it's a bit too much of

haujobbObject->rotate();
haujobbObject->render(VERY_MUCH_RGB);

but the music is so ace it raises this from a piggy to a stellar thumbs up.

Same as preacher, phat zik and some nice fxs, maybe if it was shorter or if it had more variation it would have been even better.
(btw it has that weird "bug" that forces you to move the mouse continuely to make the demo work, same bug as in some 3state prods)
