Yes, coding tiny things in assembler is fun. But even more fun is 1) coding big things in assembler or 2) trying to make them look good or 3) trying to put some sort of design or point into the small things.

Preacher, as usual, is right. Asm hardcoding is extremely fun intellectual entertainment, but only coding good things. Coding pixeloza in 15 bytes and releasing it is bad. I only disagree that the smallest reasonable category is 128B. Yep, 128B and especially 256B are the best categories, small as pussy but enough to realize amazing effects and show real skills. But 64B and 32B are also ok and have their magic, but when done right way (y0bi, Rrrola, p01...).

Rrrola has done some amazing things in 64b, and also some v good 32b(prolly the best you'll find from anyone)

was watching while listening to some francisco lopez noise ambience stuff, it fits nicely for a few seconds :D
