worked here, and was a nice read, view, and listen. Thanks. =)
okay...
Hires interlace!!!!!!
It's wasn't great to be honest. It needed some commentary to tell us who everyone was and what they were doing and the pics were kind of small.

Ps. TRSI UK have had better days. ;)
how the fuck EVER you managed to make that scroller stutter.
"the application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem"
First five seconds were awesome. WTF happened to the rest. Jesus, i remember when TRSI were the bomb (a la 1989 - 92) - dont darken their legacy for f\/cks sake guys
ok
and also ...what kb said
Great work guys, brings back all the happy memories from last weekend. :)
For those that are slightly confused, the majority of the photos are of Meaty's fantastic quiz on the Saturday afternoon, which is kind of hard to explain here, especially if you're not British.

After the intro part this runs with about 3 fps or so. Seems I don't have much luck with recent TRSI productions. :) I really wonder how you managed to make it that slow as the only effect I see is some alpha blending plus a scroller. :) The music seems to be distorted too.
Runs fine here but is boring, except for the nice logo
Well what the hell is wrong with everyone's computers? Almost every single Windows prod I grab from pouet, after reading pages and pages of people complaining about errors, works absolutely fine on my fairly slow 3500+ 2.21GHz/2GB RAM/6800GT machine - usually straight from the un-decompressed zip.
I'm a musician and not a programmer - could that be it? Do all you programmers have weird shit installed that fucks with the ability of perfectly normal executables to function as the creators intended? Or despite its decrepitude, does my slouch of a machine have some hidden, secret powers? Maybe it's a lucky streak that'll come to an end when, suddenly, everything will stop working...but for fuck's sake: if I can run this perfectly on my steam-powered tractor with the overheated and knackered second-hand nVidia card I got from parapete at a ripoff price, then I reckon some of you other chaps should start to worry about your machines :(
However, buggy is buggy, so while I'd have no idea that there were problems unless I'd read about other people's, it's good that people are able to tell Tim about them so he can do a fix ;)
Anyway, a nice interface, a nice tune (Rebb's streaming music entry?) and some pics that bring back some good memories. Shane - I'll be tagging the original copies of those pics when I get the chance and sticking them on slengpung.
71M - does all that wine/pie vomiting mean that no sceners can use your B&B next year?

No, you got it the wrong way. Some people should rather start worrying about their code.
Strangely enough (or not), I usually read only very few people complaining about prods from FR, ASD or CNS not running on their computer.
Well I never said it wasn't weird. In fact, I said it WAS strange...or lucky...or due to secret powers...but still. I don't think anyone should *really* worry about their machines; I'm just highlighting the weird coincidence. Just as you're highlighting my observation that 'buggy is buggy' :) Glad we're in agreement :D
Syphus: There can be many reasons (and it's one reason why I still prefer to code Amiga stuff :D), some cards like my good old Radeon 9800 don't like textures that have a size which is not a power of 2 while other cards support them well. Then there are different driver version which all have some different bugs etc pp. :)
Anyway, 71M just sent me a fixed/updated version which runs much better on my system, I've changed the download accordingly. Thumbs up for the very fast fix. :)

Just coincidence/magic, then! I love you StingRay, but not in a gay way!!!!1
...slow.
Thumb up for doing it.

try to make some realtime .. slideshows are outdated .. for real _d-.-b_
stingray: there's something wrong on your ftpaccount. it tells me that i have no permission to grab the file. i'll try in later, but... give it an eye please. thanks
Well for me it worked okay, and i think yes, to have a small comment under the pictures is a MUST BE for forthcoming slideshows...
The download link is broken.
It doesn't work with my Vista.
keops: says the man who's outline invite still crashes on my pc half way through.. :)

does'nt work here :(
smash: according to the ~200 comments you're one or two having this problem. It's far from being 75% :)
Having a mere slideshow not running on so many configurations, there is a serious problem with the code, yo have to admit it.
But since you want to talk about this and throw cheap attacks, we can talk about the people complaining about your latest prod crashing ;)

Good stuff! Maybe a bit empty on content but it was just knocked up at the party so who cares.. lovely photos from zeb :)
It runs here, but with a slow scroller and distorted bass in the music. The pics didn't look too interesting, but i guess they're good to bring back the memories for those who were there. Had to quit after 30 seconds or so though, the music distortion and jerky scroller were giving me a headache :(
Ok, now the executable is running, but the scroller is lagging (wtf?) and the cubes at the beginning as well. P4 3GHz, 1024DDR2, ATI x850xt. Please someone upload a fixed version.
works, but the music is horrible
i dont know actually what it is, sometimes rebbs songs are the ultimate wow, sometimes they just suck...
anyway the music in this one ruined it, had to press escape :P

Didn't work here either "Error executing program". Rebb's tune is f*cking awesome though! *thumb :)

Oh, apologies for the dark pictures - never had a chance to run them through Photoshop to correct them as I accidentally had the wrong mode set and didn't have enough time to change it - that fight with the hammers broke out quickly and finished in seconds :)
nice to revive this kind of presenttion
