Very nice!
holy shit :)
sick stuff
yeah, really nice. rumour says that the coder is only 14 years old
awesome!
very nice
I DEMAND THE WAVEFORM! FUCK THE VIDEO! I HAVE AN OSCILOSCOPE AT HOME!
amazing platform selection :) gratz for the effects too
oldskool.
too bad tejeez couldn't show up for the prize ceremony. fuckings to tejeez' parents
amazing
age 14 for real btw

xernobyl: It is available from the site listed here as the group's website.
Really cool work, too. A friend had been planning to make a demo like this, but he was lazy and never actually did it. He admitted that it wouldn't have been nearly as good anyway. :-P

I have try playing the waveform trough winamp and use builtin oscilloscope to see something, but it doesnt work. Does it require some special time settings?
Anyway thumb up for this nice stuff !
Anyway thumb up for this nice stuff !
i had seen some clips before the party, but this is far beyond my expectations (especially on the design/music side :))
i think we need some kind of an oscilloscope simulator with proper phosphor decay etc.

Great!
I'd convert it into wav (flac codec and FLAC frontend) then mess arround with " WinOscillo" but there must be some settings screenshot
very nice
dude.. finally someone did something on an osci..
the scope needs to be on x/y mode
insanely cool stuff ... :)
Thx aegis, I'd try this tool http://www.zeitnitz.de/Christian/Scope/Scope_en.html lot of other softs needed COM ports or USB (maybe for real hardware)
but it draw lines in the X/Y mode
but it draw lines in the X/Y mode
Congrats, tejeez! Great idea and execution!
Why do I always have to switch the left with the right at the first try?
;)
;)
And this actually sounds nice :D :D :D It sounds like an old racing game!
Wicked.
nicely done !
very cool. unfortunately i missed the compo
fucking awesome :)
great stuff..
i can't found the way to replay it with the Buckethead's soft
i can't found the way to replay it with the Buckethead's soft
awesome, in a fucking way
Nice idea, good result :)
Wow!
Crazy idea !
Probably not such a hardcore hardware hack as it appears at first glance (once you know what X/Y mode is), but mega thumb up for the concept, the execution, and most of all, the fact that it isn't just "I DID A DEMO ON AN OSCILLOSCOPE, LOLZ" but is actually an excellently designed demo in its own right (with pretty good music too).
Best artistic use of sinewaves since Iterate... hmm, I have a theory here. Maybe everyone is born with the ability to do awesome things with sinewaves but loses it by the age of 18? :-)

Nice demo and greate (ab?)use of an oscilloscope.
I actually had this idea about a year ago with some other stuff added but this was the essence of it. It totaly blew my mind that someone else hade actually done it, good work!

fuckin' awesome.
woah ... tvt scene.org breakthru award ?
omg.
Amazing stuff. Definitely a good choice of nominee for that breakthrough award.
DAMN!!!! FHAAKIN AWSOME!!!!
550 - no such file or directory
a simple idea when you think about it afterwards, but megaprops for being analog and creativity.
Really cool stuff!
yeah
owns!
yes!
the way it should be :)
you are the man
Nice one!
the definition of what demo coding is about
Nice. Too bad it is not real.
Ant: What do you mean it is not real?
The waveform looks right - even though I have no oscilloscope and not been able to test.

I almost wet myself
Brilliant
rocks. that's what it's all about.
thats just sick!!
Absolutely cool!
A good idea well executed.
cool
as ppl said, well executed (could've been lot worse :) but it's just an obscure display for stuff ran on 9999GHz PC, so I fail to see what's all the fuzz about. and tejeez, it's not cool to thumb up your prods so it's a piggy from me to balance it out ;)
brilliant idea!!!!!!!!
effect- music- and designwise it's rather medicore. luckily i'm a sucker for obscure electronic devices.
Kick! Ass!
I decided to watch it with a homebuilt oscilloscope made in Reaktor. Here's a video of that:
youtube me beautiful

MASTERPIECE
Totally fucking awesome!
YES! I have dreamed for many years about how cool it would be to make a demo on an oscilloscope, and now you actually did it! And did it well. My clear favorite in the compo!
thats just freaking unreal....
This idea has got so much potential, it's very cool.
Beautifully executed too. Cheesy old-school on an oscilloscope! Love it.

Awesome! Now we need to make demo on PacMan arcade machine.
Nice!
Awesome idea! And really nice effects actually. Good job.
absolutely wild.
Krass!
idea!
ace!
This is badass!
The idea is not that new, but the realization is quite a killer!
Pretty sweet.
A wild entry that's worth my time!!!!
Very, very cool indeed :)
Very, very cool indeed :)
Yeah, this rules.
make sure to kick the ass of whoever gave this a pigface.
REALLY amazing stuff!
I was baffled when I first saw this, I never thought it possible on an oscilloscope..

Great indeed.
tejeez FTW!
Purely awesome :D

Inspiring!
Wow, I have totally missed this one. Cool stuff on obscure platform => thumbs up from me!
totally insane.
crazy
absolute madness! :D
oh, totally forgot to vote. this simply rules. ;)
I love this wild <3
Throw out your graphic card, the sound chip is good enough!
I'm actually just lost for words.
one word suffice : awesome!
holy shit, i am secreting high concentrations of pure awe subliminally.
Wild device
Love the concept
It rocks! I got a friend interested in the demoscene after showing this to him. He didn't care for PC demos though.
awesome!
gr9yfox, you have a wise friend, the PC scene is not about technical challenge or refreshing ideas anymore. ;)
And.. Rules, should have won!
And.. Rules, should have won!
overcool
yep
Impressive and just a really great idea!
A great idea, that seems so obvious once someone realized it... as always with great ideas...
Really lovely concept well executed, should have won. Look forward to seeing more work by tvt.
Simply rulez :).
I would love a sequel :) by mistake I run it on wavelab with it's phase scope meter then magic happened :D there are plenty vst's i think or tools like pinguin meter.. there's little free one here, gonio3
oh my)) that rocks!)
Imagine if you could operate a demodulator inside your brain so you could get a mental image of demo through high pitched sound signals hidden in the music.

Sweet
Stunning technical aspects. Great demo
Lots of fun to watch. Good music with excellent sync too. I guess the entire demo is audio, hnm? :)
Nice, but the flac file seems to be swapped so I get a mirrorred image on my scope :/
I remember being really impressed by this one.
late but deserved
What wysiwtf said
That's a cool demo, nice, fast paced and on unusual hw!
Just tried this with my cheap Isotech scope and the audio output from a Raspberry Pi - picture is great but it won't stay centred, it drifts around on the screen quite a lot. I have no idea what causes that.
Also tried it with an iPad audio out, but that looked awful. I guess the iPad/iPhone do some lowpass filtering on the audio output.

really great :D
Way overdue: RULES!
oh yes
Holy cow, that was amazing :D
I need a fucking oscilloscope.
Good stuff. Why the four dots in the corners?
This rulez my sinuses or something. :P
YEAH! And check out the wave (not soundtrack) file - I really enjoyed watching it scroll by in audacity and seeing the innards of what tejeez put together.

oscillove it
Cool and fun and inspiring.
Damn, cool stuff. Is this the first oscilloscope demo that got a party release?
Acid soundtrack is delightfully bouncy & silly - great fun.

rulez
how did you achieve the "dripping" effect seen in this video?
really amazing stuff
I have no idea what I’m looking at (technically) but i love what i have seen
Rumor has it the coder is only 30 years old now (sorry I'm late)
