I wish to get my wii controllers and try it out.
The announcetro, well, not as good as it would have been to get on stage and do 'hallo!' 'Was?' with it, live. See.

But I guess the demonstration all weekend was the production, not the onscreen - but it's hard to tell what I'm voting for so I'll just go and play with it and say 'keep making plz (:'
a video presentation of the actual thing would have been welcome. :\

you should've done a video presentation of the thing.

As I wasn't at BP, it's hard to vote the thing this is adverstising so instead I'll rate the video, which surprisingly left me a bit puzzled.

Erm, I guess the project itself might be interesting, but the compo entry itself just plainly sucked.

Sorry, it was the only way to get this into the compo :) The video was done in the left time of an infodesk shift when nobody wanted to buy something to drink etc. ;)

what nosfe said, you should have made a video of it

also, i feel a bit skeptical about the usefulness of such cool devices. it reminds me the various multi-touch screens + alien stuff that are already out there: it's fucking cool but is it *really* usable ? maybe it is usable but i am not such into live acts to have a strong opinion.

in the end, the video would definitely have my thumb down.

but the project itself deserves a better treatment !
it is actually as usable as a MIDI drum pad for live acts with samplers - only that it's not that expensive. and even if you are not into drumming, there are many more things you can do with it when you use it to control e.g. vst parameters by midi... :)
