A nice, polished version. Well, aesthetically, at least. I think the drugs-based vol meters are what sometimes cause lockups for me on ECS hardware, but maybe it's the gnarly mods I fling at it.

Wasn't this really added before? Anyways, my favourite tracker from the Amiga days, the skin was just too cute. I don't think I ever updgraded after this one was released. :)

Not true as it was done by Crayon (original coder of the 2.x series) for Melon. Anyway, I always loved the look of it, no idea if it was nice for the musicians to work with though. :)

IIRC the author never claimed this was anything else but a new "skin" for Protracker. So there's nothing "fake" here.
Plus, it's not a hack at all as it was coded by the original author of the 2.xx series...

I made most of my songs with this version. My friends tried to convince me that 3.xx series was somehow better, but I still kept going on with this one! Big thumb up!

As I remember it it was just the interface. I also put an easter egg in there somewhere. I believe it was when the melon logo was clicked 20 times or 20 mods had been opened, or something like that. If someone finds out, let us know.
