We have seen this picture scrolling by on the ZX Spectrum, the C64 and the DTV. Now I thought it was time for the TI-83!
It was very hard to get the grayscales to turn out good in the video capture, so unless you own a TI-83 you'll have to take my word for it that it indeed is four gradients.

What P01 said.

When people learn to appreciate the actual work of others regardless of retarded and moronic considerations, the atmosphere here will probably become better...

Thumb up for the unusual platform choice and the tryout.

ti-calculators are boring crap, the routine is slow, there is no music -> SUXX !!!

How do you know that "the routine is slow" anyway? Have you ever tried something like that already? :)

Has a display, consists of semi conductors...so it is demoable!

Perhaps not in this demo, but you need to read up a bit on the TI-83. There are examples of programs producing sound/music for the TI-83. That requires the link port to be poked with data at least at the sample rate, or ideally 4*sample rate so you get at least a little faked bitdepth.
And that makes it a bit hard to combine with graphics... :p
