Replaced the link with the better ftp.funet.fi one phoenix mentioned in the st2 thread. Release date should be 12/92.
Never tried to use it but the snake game was cool :)
An ok tracker.
mmm... It dosen't work with DosBOX :(
Really nice tracker, I played alot around with it, but I still prefer Scream Tracker... But the snake game, GUI and stuff is really nice and it's a more up-to-date version of what a tracker should be.
- Weird soundcard setup which applies changes live, so better don't mess with the IRQ settings while you have SoundBlaster selected!
- Right-clicking makes certain controls go nuts
- Buggy playback
- Doesn't load some .MODs for some reason that is unknown to me and flashes red when loading some others
+ The help describes how to build a parallel port DAC if you don't have a soundcard (with ASCII art!)!

Ok, couldn't even take a screenshot of it in Win98, so here we go, screenshot the oldskool way. :D
d3pth/optimus: you are obviously talking about a different tracker (fasttracker 2)

happens when Amigians move to pc :)
My first Tracker software, bought at school on a copy disk and don't run on my pooring VGA screen... But so helpfull to discover the tracking philosophy.
I actually made a couple of mods with this
Now with decent screenshot. Moar here.
I think the CRT photo was a better screenshot, because that's what it used to look like. All screenshots of old prods should look like the actual real thing, not like a memory dump.
Disagree. Photographed from monitor looks bad (and is certainly not "what it looked like").
somehow funny doesnt really work in dosbox for windows(at least not in my setup) but works fine in dosbox for PlayStation 2
as an avid FT2 user for many years, liking this release is like praising the dad of my favourite ex.
I agree with nagz!

FT2.09 has been leaked out.
A development version of FT2.09 has apparently been leaked from one of our beta-testers. It contains most of the planned features/fixes except from proper GUS-IW support. (It doesn't work on GUS PnP Pro, and there are some memory issues.) Since every tracker-site already have it for download, we figured we could add it to our download page too.

This doesn't work in DosBox. I can hear it make a popping sound, which indicates a sound stream being initiated, but the screen is pitch black.
Thankfully, it does work in DosBox-X! You do have to switch to Surface rendering for it to look properly, and you have to press Ctrl+F10 for the mouse to be moving at a reasonable speed, but it works!
